  • There's definitely a learning curve. But overall it's a great tool to have.
  • 3x yes
  • Lemon parm chopped salad and frittata with potatoes and cheddar cheese.
  • Just a reminder for June UAC ... If anyone wants to respond to the announcement post: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10865368/ultimate-accountability-challenge-june-2022#latest And, also I left the June volunteer calendar open because I wasn't too clear on how Mrs_Hoffer was doing so if you want to do any…
  • 3x yes I am one of those fast eaters. I'm usually done before my partner is even halfway through his food. He sometimes refers to me as a wood chipper. :D I attribute it to being the only girl with brothers who ate up everything at the table so if I wanted seconds I needed to eat fast. Also, we grew up in the era when…
  • Air fried fish and tots. Side of sautéed broccoli dressed with Cholula green sauce whic is made from jalapeño & poblano peppers. My partner and I are mature adults but we both have a weakness for tater tots. They work just as chips/fries with fish.
  • The new UAC group for June is here: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/143182-ultimate-accountability-challenge-june-2022 The thread on the Challenges page of MFP groups is also up: you can post your "testimonial" about what the UAC means to you here:…
  • 3x yes Since I've settled into my new place the stress has disappeared as expected. Also, as many of you know I agreed to own the group starting in June so I'll be getting things setup tomorrow for June UAC.
  • Taco salad: romaine, tomatoes, avocado, salsa, sour cream, cheese and leftover taco meat from the freezer. Meat was ground beef, onion, Mexican spices and cilantro.
  • 3x yes No real change for me over the next week. I'll continue to do the treadmill every morning, upper body weights every other day, evening walk when weather allows and stay within my calorie limits. I'm already down a couple of pounds since I arrived to my new home and got back into my routine.

  • Black bean chile con carne. Added salsa, sour cream and avocado.
  • Chilean sea bass and a side of avocado, cherry tomato and persian cumber. Dressed with an accidental overdose of olive oil.
  • 3x yes Another day with both treadmill and an evening walk. I also managed over 14000 steps with errands and multiple trips up and down the stairs.
  • I've been tied up the last couple of months but will be back to regular posting this week. A few things I've eaten recently. Breakfast place: Avocado Benedict with hash browns. I'm a fan of Benedicts but prefer them without the English muffin. This one was phenomenal and I was pleased they put the Hollandaise on the side.…

  • 3x yes This evening we went out for happy hour in the city center of our new town. There is a walking path in the vicinity so we did a long walk afterwards. This was in addition to the treadmill this morning. We're renting a townhouse so I end up going up and down the stairs multiple times every day which has resulted in…
  • I eat quality meat, poultry and seafood (grass fed, organic, locally pastured, wild caught, etc). My preference is to eat something different each day for the variety. I have tried to do the occasional vegetarian meal but I don't like most legumes or tofu which makes it difficult to get sufficient protein. I feel best on…
  • One thing I forgot to mention last night is that we always put a fan on because it tends to drown out other sounds and provides a more consistent background noise. Plus I need the airflow. I notice the difference in hotels where I am constantly flipping covers on and off because I can't maintain a constant temperature.…
  • 3x yes Today was a good day. In addition to the treadmill we went for a walk around the neighborhood when my partner got home from work. Sleep has been an ongoing problem for me. When I still worked I had insomnia about once a week though I slept fine the rest of the time. Since I retired about 1.5 years ago the insomnia…
  • 3x yes I don't have a sweet tooth so desserts and such aren't an issue for me. In fact it's rare that I even have any types of cravings that make me go overboard. However, it doesn't mean there is nothing that throws me off. For me the best strategy is to not buy it at all. If it's not in the house I won't be tempted.
  • 3x yes
  • My treadmill is 21 years old and has never been lubricated. I’ll check the manual to see if there are any instructions related to that. Thanks.
  • 3x yes i went on the treadmill for the first time in more than a month. It doesn’t sound right though. this is the first time it has ever been on carpet. could that make a difference? it seems like it it wouldn’t be as stable. the main difference is the squeaky sound it makes. it seems to be running fine otherwise. anyone…
  • last pass day of the month we put the treadmill back together this afternoon so it’s ready for me in the morning
  • pass day as expected
  • another pass day. we are on a 24 hour road trip and today was 8 hours plus stops. all we ate was fast food which i despise but there are no other options off the freeway. only vegetable i’ve had is potato in the form of fries. 🤣 tomorrow will be the same except 10 hours of driving. normally i eat green vegetables but very…
  • pass day again

  • Good advice. Airport food is the worst right now. In recent years the airports in the US were making an attempt to partner with local restaurants and upping their quality but the pandemic reversed that trend to the point they've gotten so bad with their limited menus. Now it's more that I need something in my stomach if I…
