@Makatees Those are some great results! Your actions are very important! Commit to them, align your thoughts and feelings, and your results will manifest themselves.

IMHO it’s about learning and supporting each other as we experience our own trials and tribulations towards a “common” goal to improve our health in some way shape or form. How that translates is different for everyone. For some, group accountability is nice, for others general discussions are great.

Can you tell if they are Emotional hunger or physical hunger?

1. Despite common understanding, being fat does not have to be a death sentence. Learning to love yourself for who you are, here and now, is the most important thing you can do! 2. Also, despite common understanding, you can eat the foods you love, or close, as part of your plan, as long as they don’t cause medical…

Work the plan for today. Update the plan for tomorrow. Be patient, kind and understanding with myself! “It doesn’t come natural until it’s practiced unnaturally.” “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” “Fail forward quickly and often!” Have a wonderful Wednesday!

IMHO, Diets have been so counterproductive to permanent weight loss. I believe a shift away from the diet mentality is necessary to achieve your best weight or your lowest livable weight for the rest of your life! IF can be a lifestyle change rather than a diet, but it doesn’t by itself address the mental issues,…

@ConfidentRaven Way cool. I continue to wear clothes 3 sizes to large for myself. It’s just comforting to me in some way.

First off, 7 hours on 40g of porridge is impressive! I totally agree in trying to find satiating foods, and foods that your body feels good and functions well on in the long-term. As a creature of habit, I do eat the same foods regularly for weekday breakfast and lunch, and mix dinner and weekend meals up, however on a…

Consciously deciding to eat is way better than just compulsive overeating. Asking “why” is a great way to start recognizing what is occurring. Sometimes the answer isn’t apparent, but asking the question opens up your mind to the opportunity to answer it. Our Desires to overeat typically come from the habit brain. Asking…

I can totally relate. As far back as I can remember, I have always carried a lot of excess weight. I can still remember the first time I consciously wanted to lose weight, I was around 25 years old. I ultimately lost about half of my goal, and then just lost my way. The process was just a lot of work, and the results…
