  • Not only a Cadburys Caramel, but a cold one - only the lactose intolerant could resist ! CICO, thats why we earn'em ! How you spend them is your call :)
  • Well done OP !
  • Hello there ! I've been Keto'ing for most of this year and just want to highlight that the level of carb reduction required to stay in ketosis is different for everyone. Personally, I think 20g is just too restrictive diet wise. My experience was keeping it at 50g NET for a few weeks to get into a decent fat burning state…
  • I think its a good idea to make the appointment - and its great that you have a good relationship with your GP ! I think with this pile of total kitten, they look at the symptoms over a period of time - so it might be an idea to draw out a timeline of symptoms for your appointment ? There are other things that can rock up…
  • Loving the calc work !
  • hello OP and sorry to hear about your cycling experience. I'm a fan of walking and like @NorthCascades find its a good time for yourself. If you are feeling tired, might be an idea to check your hydration levels ? If I were walking that long, I would deffo be in need of some water although I suspect I am not as fit as y…
  • Hi OP - am sorry you have lost your lovely sounding ring. Hope you find it. x
  • Don't feed'em !

  • Poor you :( I havent experienced this but my friend has had the random timed cycles and full periods for weeks at a time, and some more normalish periods with some spotting for days/weeks after - her GP essentially said you arent meonpausal 'yet'. Here in the UK recognition and support for being peri-menopausal is a little…
  • G and a slimline T, ice and and a world of fresh lime wedges.
  • 2 duck eggs on spelt toast with a cup of tea is my go to brekkie - high satiate score (for me).
  • You go girl ! I have lost the least off my thighs so am with you on that ! Our starting weights were the same too :) I am still slightly mortified now I have realised just how much I lost off my upper back (euw !) and a sort of shelf of lard between my hips and waist - the sort of shelf you could balance a drink on.....
  • This may seem unhelpful but I thought 'good loss for 3 weeks !' before reading you were unhappy. It is important to be realistic and healthy regarding weightloss - whichever WOE you choose has to be sustainable for you. As posted above, you are a lucky lady indeed if your weight doesnt wobble a bit around your TOM. That…
  • Hello OP and I feel your pain ! I have lost 40lb and have moved from the stretchy material top end of one size to the small end non stretchy material of the next size down. But back to you :) You've lost 23lb so its gone from somewhere ! Hindsight is all sorts of awesome and if only you had known this would happen, you…
  • Hello OP and it might not feel like it now, but its def better to know and manage it. Both of the posters above have given solid advice. Here in the UK, this is usually managed by diet with other conditions that sometimes result in or drive NAFLD being treated with diet and/or drugs. The diet advice in the UK is the same…
  • Fabulous ! Turtles are may favourite when diving - sounds like the whole thing was marvelous !
  • This - its great advice. Wishing you well OP.
  • Hello again OP and I am sorry you are still feeling so poorly. I am wondering if a lot of these symptoms may be driven from your (understandable) anxiety ? I had a period of anxiety when I was younger and it showed as these symptoms and more. Sometimes people don't realise that anixety can cause so many physical symptoms.…
  • Hello OP - I think its time to see a doctor. In the meantime, I would suggest keeping hydrated, eating a balanced diet and trying to make sure you are getting enough sleept for you. Hope you are feeling better soon. I am going to avoid poking the anti-keto crowd. I think we've all heard of somethng someone or other has…
  • Well done on the weight loss OP ! I dont have kidlets but snacking /picking is my undoing too ! I am loving your balanced approach. I am 40lb down since the start of Feb. What works for me: 1. Weighing, recording and planning all eating apart from eating out. If I go out for dinner (a rare occurrence !) I have what I like…
  • Hello OP - are you going no/low sugar or no/low carb ? I've dropped one or both before and currently I am keeping added sugar under 30g per day and total net carbs at 100g. I am not going to tell you what to eat but perhaps encourage you undersand what it is you want to feel right now - for example me, it took me a while…
  • Was that half a glass of neat ACV ?!
  • I've gone off eating meat, my taste for sweet things has reduced and I barely drink booze anymore - my craving for buttered toast has gone up tenfold !
  • Not sure about weight loss but it does taste great, even making salad (a food I am not a fan of) more than edibubble.
  • Yeap ! I would deffo weigh my portions and remember to monitor net carbs. Veggies are absolutely necessary with keto imo - others to try include our good friend cauliflower, swiss chard and spinach. I find spinach in particular to be a bulky and filling low carb veggie eat :)
