Nice post @Jruzer . I was going to post something similar but you summed it up quite nicely.

Maybe you haven’t found your favorite vegetables yet. The variety is nearly infinite. There must be something out there you haven’t tried yet. My grocery store has roasted Brussel sprouts and rainbow carrots. Delish. Or...try adding some spices you like. Most spices are very low in calories, almost negligible. (Not sauces…

Pick the machine up and carry it for 5 miles. Should burn some calories.
-
“Vibration machine”? OP could you *please* post a link or short description so we know what the heck you’re talking about.
-
Gave you a Like for this, very nice. I had bison steaks at a top tier restaurant and they were incredible. I’ve also had venison meatballs prepared by a co worker who hunted and dressed the deer by himself. Great stuff.
-
I looked at them but said no. For less money and similar effort you should be able to do the same or better on your own.
-
I *wish* I had a “set point”
-
What do you mean by “healthy”?
-
Wouldn’t that be true of a lean cut of any meat?
-
Add a shark to the water?

No device will be completely accurate. Any app is just software and will read the data provided by the built in hardware accelerometers. And the calories burned are a rough estimate no matter what device you use.
-
It’s really more about heart rate than sweating. Maybe a heart rate monitor would give you more objective data.
-
You just named 4.
-
What do you mean by “healthy”? (I’ve asked this a million times and have yet to get a straight answer)
-
Any particular reason you believe these are healthier than other meats?
-
Turkey and shrimp are very high in protein per calorie.
-
Good idea for a thread.
-
Not.
-
I don’t know what this photo is. What activity were you doing?
-
Weighing food was a HUGE eye opener for me. Could believe how much I was eating before I started counting calories.
-
Don’t overthink it. If you read too much you’ll just get confused. There are a LOT of conflicting opinions about all these subjects.
-
I started calorie counting in the middle of a Minnesota winter. Lost the first 30 pounds sitting indoors, no exercise at all. In the spring I started exercising simply because I wanted to. Even then it was just walking and some biking.
-
Thumbs down.
-
Yeah the last 10-12 were very slow for me too. BUT, that was balanced out by the rapid weight loss when I first started. So the average 1lb/week still worked out to be correct.
-
Huh? Aren’t you the same person who posted a bunch of “tips” a few days ago? I thought you had this all figured out.
-
Cooked. That way you’re measuring exactly what you’re eating. (Please turn off your caps lock)
-
I’m always against the “cheat day” (who are you cheating?) Not because of the calories but because of the discipline. It’s so easy for a cheat day to become a cheat week then a cheat month... You’re only delaying the day when you finally hit your goal weight.
-
Combat Crunch are also very good (they’re baked or something) but dang that chocolate coating. I wonder if I could ever talk them into a non coated version...
-
I can’t understand why some people think calorie counting is such a chore. Once the majority of my foods are entered, logging takes less than 60 seconds of my entire day. Couldn’t be simpler.

LOL!!!
