What do you mean by “healthy”?

                They aren’t in these forums.

People who don’t track everything are doomed to fail.

Stay at or under your daily calorie limit.

I buy a huge bag of mixed veggies (corn, carrots, green beans, peas) from Sam’s Club and eat some every day. For variety I use different spices on different days. I have a rather large collection now, everything from kinda sweet to spicy hot. Most spices add very few calories but lots of flavor.

Why do you think you need to replace eggs?

The number of calories burned by walking is negligible anyway so there’s no need to consider eating them back. Unless you do a *lot* of walking (way more than 4800 steps) or strenuous walking. Like a treadmill with some incline. I average 12,000 steps per day but I never eat back the calories.

                “Healthy” being defined as...?
-
                Negligible.

                Stop eating muffins.

I’ve been using the free version for 4 years. Before MFP was bought out by Under Armor.

So what, probably 95% of the world likes sweets. People are talking themselves into an addiction that doesn’t exist.
-
There is no such thing as a “sweet tooth”. It’s a colloquialism that has no basis in science.

I think I see what you mean. The calories I get back from walking seems low to me but I prefer it to be a low estimate. Wouldn’t want to eat back too much. And on my treadmill I’m starting to use more incline. That burns more calories but neither the iPhone nor MFP (nor any other step tracker) can sense or adjust for that.…
-
Eh? That’s not true at all. I have Apple Health connected to my MFP and it works perfectly. My steps are counted on the iPhone and the step data is read by MFP. Those calories (what few they are) are added back into my daily calorie equation.

The word “fasting” is a good way to get a thread locked. And for good reason.

Well done! I first got to Onederland on my birthday.

60 pounds in 60 weeks. My MFP weight loss rate was set at 1 pound/week.

There’s a huge margin for error. You’d have to measure each ingredient in the pizza to figure out the calories. Lookup a bunch of entries for pizza and estimate on the high side. Best you can do.
-
Forget about carbs and macros. Just set up MFP and follow it. It will tell you how many calories you’re allowed each day.

I like Zevia zero calorie sodas. The grape and black cherry flavors are awesome.

...and some people think cheat meals are a great idea.

                Total BS

42 pounds in 66 days?! That’s pretty extreme.

Cheat day, terrible idea. It will become a cheat week, cheat month...

                I’m giving up Lent.

My acid reflux came to an abrupt halt the *first* day I started counting calories. I used to buy antacid bottles 3 at a time. I never need them anymore. That may have been a bigger victory than my weight loss.

I lost 60 pounds (and maintained it for 3 years now) using just MFP/ calorie counting and have no idea what “Keto” is. And don’t care.
