I'm lazy so I buy the premade protein drinks. I regularly use them as creamer in my coffee. I find that I have to use more of the protein drink to get the taste I like--but I'm going to drink it all anyway. It works. I alternate between protein drinks and regular creamer.

I gained a lot of weight in a short amount of time and my shoes all became too tight. Most I re-homed, but I kept a few faves. Hopefully they'll fit again soon!

I drink two cups of coffee, 6-8 cups of water, and sometimes wine or beer. The coffee is always, the water is getting to be always, and the wine/beer is three times per week. I think that totals 64-100oz per day.

From a weight tracking standpoint, it doesn't matter as long as you weigh with the same constants (time of day, clothing, location of scale, etc.). If you have religious traditions that need to be adhered to, follow those so you can stay in compliance.

I don't take them everyday because they have calories. The vitamins I take are not high dose. Not a single vitamin/mineral in my supplement is 100% of USRDA. The highest are calcium and vitamin both at 50% of USRDA. So, I still say they are cheap insurance.

I started taking a multivitamin when I started losing weight just to cover my vitamins and minerals that I might not be getting in my diet. I try hard to get my macros right, but sometimes struggle. It's probably a waste of money, but it's also cheap insurance and peace of mind.
