Thanks y'all! I'll play around with it and see what I can come up with. I like my pasta al dente, so I'm sure that will affect end weight.

That's the common conversion I found online, but it takes ounces or grams and converts that to cups. I was hoping for a weight to weight conversion not a weight to volume conversion. Thanks for chiming in though!!

Great job on the 10lbs! Keep on keepin' on!

Why can't you or won't you cook? I guarantee that not many people are more busy than I am. I have a full time job, part time job, and two volunteer jobs--all of which keep me VERY busy. I also have a dog and a house mate with a disability. I cook 6 nights/week. I also keep a very clean house and tidy, pretty yard.…

Therapy
-
It sounds like you need both a medical doctor and a therapist to treat all of your injuries and emotional baggage surrounding your relationship with food. Hate to break it to you, but you can't "destroy/break/ruin/damage/etc. your metabolism" they way you seem to think you can. It's fine and doing what it's supposed to do.…

Why are you asking for medical advice from random strangers on the Intranet? GO TO A DOCTOR if you are that concerned.
-
Seek therapy. Not rational. Not normal. Not healthy. I sincerely hope you get it under control.

Weight every single solid food that you put into your mouth! Measure or weight every single liquid. If you take supplements and/or medications weight the log them too. I found out that many supplements, medications, vitamins, etc have calories. It is very likely--almost guaranteed-- that you are eating WAY more calories…

Calories are king!

MFP works with the stats you put in. How many pounds per week did you select? What activity level did you select? Sedentary is basically for people who are comatose!! If you raise whatever you put up a notch, you'll get more calories. If you lower your weekly pounds to .5, you'll also get more calories. Also, MFP is…

I love that Costco sheet cake! I have it once a month for a monthly birthday get together with friends. I have my one piece and enjoy the hell out of it.

Eat what you want. I "eat" coffee with sweetened cream as my only breakfast.
-
One pound lost overnight! I also ate poorly yesterday--I guess I'm still on vacation!!
-
Let it go.

I did fly round trip half way across the country. I also didn't drink much water, or have regular (sorry, TMI) bowel movements. Today, I'm getting all of that back on track. There's no place like home to go p...p!

I must be part heathen. I <usually> shower 5/7 days and wash my hair once a week.

Forgive yourself; it's just food. Log it and move on. If it happens again, try to figure out why you are craving snacks so bad. Is your deficit too aggressive? Do you need a "diet break"?

I'm 55 and female. I've lost 42 pounds in 4 months NOT doing Keto. I eat whatever I want: pizza, pasta, beer, wine, cake, etc. I make sure to maintain my daily and weekly deficit and no special eating routine required. It's pure Calories In; Calories Out.
-
This advice should NOT be followed. There is no such thing as healthy vs unhealthy foods; unless you have an allergy or medical condition. Also, you should never intentionally eat less than 1200 calories/day. You can lose weight eating ANYTHING as long as you maintain you deficit. The rest of the advice you've been given…

I've lost 42lbs in 4 months; so it doesn't really matter how "wildly inaccurate" the database it; it still works. I do a little bit of research and mentally toss out any big discrepancies I find in the database. It's not perfect, but it works.

What do you like? What do you hate? Have any allergies? What's available in your area? What are your cooking skills? What appliances do you have access to? How much time do you want to spend in the kitchen? What's your budget? These aren't rhetorical questions, but I also don't want to know the answers. I could spend hours…

If you can read and follow directions, you can cook. You don't have to invent new recipes, just follow recipes that have already been created. I like www.allrecipes.com Search Google with something like: "Five ingredient healthy recipes" and see if anything looks appealing.

Weight loss happens in the kitchen not on the tread mill!
-
Log it and move on. Lesson learned.
-
Congrats on your successes thus far! Unfortunately, spot reducing isn't a thing.

I'm human; mostly.

I drink 60ml of sweetened creamer every day. I limit myself to that amount only and fit the amount of coffee into that amount of creamer. For me, that's 2 cups of coffee with 30ml of cream in each cup. I recently tried Piknik, a coffee creamer substitute made with butter, I like it okay, but it's twice as much as the stuff…
