I hear ya Karl. Before I retired, I was very aprehensive. For the last 45 years, I knew nothing but work. Now, 3 months later...loving it. First thing I did was fire MFP back up to drop some extra weight and it has definitely enhanced my enjoyment of retirement.

Hello everyone my name is Rick, been following this thread. It is cool reading the different posts from everyone in the over 60 crowd. I must confess I am a youngster. I just turned 60 last October. My focus is to stay healthy throughout retirement and achieve a good quality of life.

My main strategy is to use myfitnesspal to track how much food I take in daily. Also, 30 minutes of exercise minimum of 3 days a week. I have found I eat healthy enough but I don't know when to stop without tracking. I have stayed on the wagon 5 days this time so far.
