  • Usually the slight slowdown of the treadmill when your weight is on it causes the speed to be more and more off over time, so I'd tend to trust garmin. For indoor running, though, a foodpod will generally be a bit more accurate, if you have one.
  • I'd suggest just starting with a solid beginners program. You can find some reasonable choices at https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10332083/which-lifting-program-is-the-best-for-you/p1 Pretty much any solid beginners program is fine.
  • I liked Jeff Nippard's summary of the studies on the most effective ab exercises (although a fair number are based on emg data). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xdOuqokcm4
  • Perhaps you've confused meat with protein? Vegans need adequate protein levels just the same as meat eaters (a bit more perhaps due to both bioavailability), but I've never had mfp have any idea about meat, or recommending me to eat any.
  • Entries are user created, so you often can't rely on anything other than calories or sometimes macros. You're not usually going to be able to assess deficiencies based on mfp entries unless you stick to usda entries (and even then, mfp only really supports things the labeling guidelines require).
