simple answer? All sugar is carbs, but not all carbs are sugar. Alot of carbs are fibre.

it could literally be a million things. you could be putting on muscle as you're losing the weight at the same rate. are you doing any thing with weights? try not to lose heart. just because it seems like you've plateaued doesn't actually mean you have.

If you frequently do strength training and are often building muscle, the scale, and the BMI will lie to you. Personally I advise people never use the BMI. I lost a tonne of fat recently, and it's very noticeable around my arms and stomach, yet I'm still close to the weight I was previously. Incidentally, my muscle mass…

In regards to losing fat in specific areas, I should probably inform you that's impossible. The way it works is you burn fat all over. The idea of targeting a specific area, only applies to muscle building, not burning fat. I hope that information helps you a bit, if you start to get discouraged that you aren't losing…

I want to feel comfortable as an exhibitionist.

If you aren't sure what goal to shoot for, look up what is the average intake for a woman your age, and size that is above average fitness. That's what I did.

Ok, so you don't feel weak or sick occasionally or any of that? You feel physically fine most of the time? That's a good indication. Obviously height does factor (I'm 5'8) so for me that's far too little. My suggestion to you would be to take a small break, maybe one week, and let your body rest. Then back into it. You…

This. Since hitting 30 I certainly can't have as many late nights as I used to.
-
Well said. This applies whether you're bulking or cutting. It's good to take a break every now and then and let it recover. It might seem like you'll go backwards but in the long run it will help you lose it faster. The body struggles to perform if tired. This applies to wait loss too, not just output in the workouts. She…

Finally toning up and feeling a little better about my appearance. You? Ive started tracking everything

I also am going to log everyday. Only joined today, but I have a clear goal in mind.

Bicycling burns a hell of a lot of calories also. If you're struggling to lose any more, you may be trying to lose it too fast. It's good to give your body a rest now and then. It increases performance and lets it recover faster. If you're caloric daily intake is less than 6000 kilojoules, you could possibly be starving…

that went well. "January 3 2019"

I'm new. Don't really know anyone, but I'd like to take part in this also.

Define post transition. Post usually means GRS. Do you mean you've started presenting as female to others?
-
The good news is because you've got so much to lose, you can lose it quite fast. The bad news is it will take hard work and some maths. Start tracking everything. That will give people an idea of how to help you.

Swimsuit.

If you are struggling with the exercises and injuring yourself, one option is to lower the amount of reps or the weight and slowly work your way up. There's no rush to lift the heaviest loads asap.

I just looked at your diary. 5000 kilojoules intake a day seems really low (like starving your body levels of low). I imagine you aren't feeling great. Maybe ease off on the weight loss a bit, and eat a little bit more. Rushing will actually make it harder. If you lose it too fast, you'll plateau and have a lot of trouble…

Have a rest day. Or even a rest week. That way you'll feel more motivated and refreshed, and give the body time to recover (depending on your level of exercise).

I plan to keep track of my intake everyday. I can probably post it with no hassle. So I guess I'll post my intake each day and track my progress. I'm a mtf transgirl aged 30.

I'll be honest. Even though I myself am 5'8, my daily intake is pegged about 1800 calories according to myfitnesspal (confusing. I'm not sedentary), but until I joined, I was trying to hit roughly 2000 a day (I exercise roughly 4-5 times a week). Your 1200 to me seems like you're eating too little. If you're feeling ill…
