My day has gone quite well. One day achieved. Only ate when I was hungry. Nothing but water since my last meal. Recorded everything in my food diary. Resisted biscuits and chocolates in the staff room. Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way for this last 24 hours x Same goals for tomorrow.

Previously I didn’t drink much water but for the last few days I’ve been making a conscious effort. However the more I drink the more I notice my thirst and I need to drink more. Has anyone else experienced this or know why it is? I’m assuming I was dehydrated and didn’t realise!

Thank you for your post. I like your idea of starting small but I feel like a drastic change needs to happen.
