How much water weight does the average person hold? I find I’m always about 3-4 pounds heavier on Sundays even though the last two weekends I’ve stuck to my MFP recommended calorie consumption deficit or only gone as far as my maintainance calorie goal. What was it that made you start consuming too much after such an impressive loss? Was it just a bad day that triggered excessive calorie consumption and then you just couldn’t stop binge eating?

Are we able to predict @Andreabroadley loss if 3500 is one pound and her deficit is 4932. Does this mean she should have lost 1.4 pounds ‘in theory’ and without considering factors such as water retention and rate of metabolism etc ?

I’m the same. I’m gna exercise a lot today. Member you won’t gain a pound unless you ate 3500 calories on top of your usual 1500 tdee. Although we think we gain weight over night or literally as soon as you wolf the treats down it’s not possible to gain unless u consumed like 5000 calories in the one go.

If you fast for a day and have limited calories and then compensate the next day by increasing your calories what happens to your body? Will it be a cleanse for your metabolism or will it cause you to gain weight on the second day when you eat an increased number of calories?

@wagnerchristina99 I’ve been trying frozen grapes to stop me binging. I think you should try this when you start to feel upset and feel a binge coming on. @Perla4686 you need to snack on low calorie snacks when you get fed up and ensure you say within a calorie deficit. It’s ok to get upset and have crisps and biscuits as long as you are still in a calorie deficit. I find that a black tea with a teaspoon of brown sugar can give me a sweet treat to sip on and curbs my craving…
