@wanderinglight I haven't read all your posts but please don't be disheartened about a little weight gain. From personal experience I can fluctuate +/- 5lb in a single day! Just trust the process and you will get there in the end. My journey so far certainly hasnt been and I'm sure it won't be a steady downwards trend (as…

@speyerj I love that, its not motivation that will sustain me its habit

So many amazing weight losses!! Well done everyone. Had a bit of a set back over the last couple of days. So I'm going to leave weighing this week. But I'll get back on it from now. I've kept logging though so I'll take that as a plus!

@planktonbye such good advice, I'll have a look to see what it would be calories wise and see if there is an option that would better to fit with my overall goal @speyerj that is so true and I completely agree with everything you are saying! Glad you enjoyed your pizza!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on here. I have woken up this morning feeling so good that I managed my cravings and didn't succumb to them! I was thinking about you guys and how hard you are working, how well everyone is doing and managed to distract myself and eat a much less calorific meal. Here's to hoping…

I am an emotional eater too, eat when I'm happy or eat when I am sad, excited, nervous you name it. I think that is why intermittent fasting is working so well for me. Is simple, I am either allowed to eat or not allowed to eat. If its past my eating window I will have to wait and eat it when I am allowed again. Usually by…

@Dancer0515 definitely focus on yourself, sounds like you do so much for your patients. You've got this!! I wish you luck, slow and steady will get you there. Taken me over a year to get where I am, and I know I've got a way to go but feeling hopeful that the graph will keep on the downward trend

I meant around it 🙄 ... a cheat meal for me is usually a pizza so ends up being about 2000+ which I could never gain back by over a weekly average. Oh well. Feast, fast, repeat seems to be working and hopefully can keep going for life

@Dancer0515 fantastic weight loss over such a short period of time. I have been intermittently fasting, not that strict, and lost 52lb in total. Sticking to it more over last couple of weeks with a plan to continue for life. Got another 40lb to lose to reach a healthy BMI. How long are your fasting windows? My aim is 18…

@mmdeveau such impressive weight loss! Especially over 7 years never letting yourself go back up to your highest weight. Great advice too, secretly good for me as with working long hours and running around after my 18-month-old son, I don't find much time to exercise, but working on my relationship with food is something I…

@RavenStCloud I have been using the app HIIT Down Dog which has some good workouts, also is a yoga version of the app

@speyerj this is very true, the weight that popped today and yesterday made me smile as I would have told you it would have been an unattainable goal this time last year. So fingers crossed. @changeforeverlj slow and steady is working for me, definitely less hungry and fewer cravings than before. Even though I'd love for…

@CupcakeCrusoe tell me about it lol, I'll try to aim around that amount of calories I think but not be too hard on myself if it is anything under 1500. @changeforeverlj that is a fantastic start to the month, well done!! I was wondering about those weights that the app tells you after submitting your diary, have other…

@orangequilt thank you!! I think when I tried to trim the quote it lost it 🤷♀️ @speyerj great work on the half marathon! Completely agree with the no bad food. Also to add, no beating yourself up if you've had a bad meal, can continue after it is finished, all your hard work isn't wasted. @wyndstar2000 I have been…

Posted by mistake was trying to quote someone for a reply but not sure how to do it ... sorry

Hi all! I have posted on here a few months ago I think but found it a bit overwhelming with so many posts. Am going to try again now, as starting to get better at logging each day, and thinking seeing others success will be great motivation. I am from the UK so stating my weight in pounds means very little to me but I'll…

Hi everyone. I am new here, well I have used MFP on and off for years but never tried the community before. I have cheated and put my SW as before I gave birth last Jan - 246lb, so about a stone of my weight loss was just giving birth. CW is 205lb which is nearly 7lb less than before I fell pregnant two years ago! So I am…
