You should take into account exercise when calculating your TDEE and calories to eat (which you currently have at 2k).   • No point cutting, you don't have enough muscle to lose a substantial amount of fat. If you cut you will just look smaller but not much leaner. That's just from my experience with beginners cutting and it depends what your long term goals are :)

  • I was scared at first when I started years ago, but you just have to do it. Do your research, make sure you are doing a physique NOT strength based program and train hard. Eat right and you will put on more muscle than fat. Good luck, trust it and you will be fine.
  • Late reply to the thread but I'm another guy newer to bodybuilding (just under 3 years). I don't always use this app to track, I prefer eating intuitively or writing straight meal plans, but I occasionally go on here for a few months.
