@AustinRuadhain The other way round. I'm based in Asia but now I'm in UK for the whole month of Fat2Fit challenge. I have access to a kitchen. But green veggies I'm use to aren't here. I normally steam food. Thanks for your support and reassurance on my surprise of calories in catered food.

Hi I was assigned MISSION SLIMPOSSIBLES team for June 2019. Am I in the right place? I've been in the May 2019 thread but are we suppose to be here?

Hello everyone, Welcome to June 2019 - hope this month we'll see lots of motivation for each other. My name is Apple and I joined MFP again to lose weight before my autumn birthday. I was on a keto diet for a month but I found it hard to stick to. Now I'm just trying to eat less and eat more nutritious food. Feel free to…

Please can you share the sleeping routine points with me?

I'm not sure this is under the umbrella of keto flu - but is anyone having starting on keto affecting their sleep? It's unusual for me to sleep only 7hours. But I wake up and feel tired but can't drift back to sleep. Unusually I sleep lots. The science says "Insomnia caused by the keto diet is attributed to low levels of…

It's the lutein in the eggs that are beneficial. You can get it as supplements. But it's better just to eat fresh eggs

Well done for losing the weight and keep going! Hong Kong food is high in carbs but only because portions are large - since food is for sharing. Turnip cake - dim sum is high in fat and carbs but you wouldn't eat a whole piece of the 3 slices per portion. But my problem is I would eat a whole slice. Just like the Char Sui…

When I first started MFP I was 88kg. I stopped eating snacks and got to 81kg. Then I started logging on MFP and lost weight but now I've put it back on. I aim for 1200cal a day too. For me it was ensuring I ate regularly at a meal time. So if I wanted to eat - I'd look at the clock and see how much longer I had to wait.…

Great news you just started and already lost 1kg - well done! I just started keto for less than 2 weeks now. I felt tummy ache like I didn't want to eat - so I drunk some stock cube drink which helped. So this time (my 2nd attempt at keto) I didn't have leg spasms thankfully. As I live in HK, it's hard to eat the basic…

Hello Claire, Happy to hear you are starting your keto journey too! I watch a lot of Ally McWowie on YouTube as she has lost a lot of weight. She sharing what she's learnt and lots of insight. Her best advice is to see the fat as a fat LIMIT than a fat GOAL. - but of course when you first start, eat more fat. This is my…

Try egg and tuna - that's a lot of protein and not too fattening.

Hello Karen - I'm not new to MFP but I recently started using it again as I want to track my calories to lose weight. Are you using MFP to lose weight or for other reasons?
