I'm partial to Garmin myself. I had a Vivofit for a long time--only just recently upgraded to a FR 35 'cause I lost my Vivofit in my move. They're very affordable + they can be used with a chest strap to get an accurate reading of heart rate and calories 'burned'. It really does help to be able to see those numbers and put…

I bought one and I used it approximately 11 times, diligently. Then it worked great as a place to hang clothes that were in my way. I gave it away. If you'll USE it, go for it. I deal with some wicked anxiety but we joined Planet Fitness a couple weeks ago-- I got the black card, which just means you can go to any club and…

So, ACV is a staple in our family. We put it on our pork, we soak our veggies in it for snacks. It's a food group. The lot of us are more overweight than underweight. I wish it were some miracle thing, but I feel if it were, I wouldn't be here. I consume it because I love the flavor but benefits, not so much. I can tell…

Pickles, cucumbers, carrots in ranch, canned peaches in water or juice. Orange Cream greek yogurt (Chobani) is my current go-to. Turkey pepperoni. Sugar-free popsicles.

I usually drink mine on the way home from the gym which averages out to about 10-15 minutes after my workout.

Worth it to add, this is a struggle I am well-versed in as I am struggle with fatigue and coffee is my morning go-to and my afternoon kick-start so I have to find lower calorie alternatives to making it yummy when it gets boring. Otherwise I'd be consuming a meal's worth of creamer calories in a day. I've also been known…

This, here. I usually will use a splash of the hazelnut and a couple spoonfuls of Stevia. If you're open to other flavors, a sugar-free vanilla syrup + stevia + a dash of cinnamon, blended well and added to coffee is really yum.

Now I am really craving some pickled okra.

None of mine are "puppies" anymore but they're definitely still PUPPIES. KnowwhatImean? I'm doing this from my phone so I'm not sure if it took but if it did, thats a Jones Comma George during a trip to Lowes Home Improvement. Update: It did not work. Fail.

I struggle monthly with my cycle due to extreme period pain/likely endometriosis. I would totally try a Woo-woo juice cleanse if it would help the pain.

If you enjoy being relentlessly hungry, it might be fun.

We made some really awesome spicy pickles from cukes we grew. I can only eat like, 2 pieces at a time 'cause they pack some serious heat but they have the best flavor.
-
Also, Chobani Orange Cream greek yogurt.

Roasted butternut squash. We grew some in our garden this year-- peel and seed it, dice it. Toss with EVOO and some salt and pepper and maybe some garlic or onion powder. 400 degrees for about 20-25 minutes. Top with a little REAL butter. So creamy I could die.

I wouldn't be terribly upset about having some more friends.

Reaching way back in the files for this one, I haven't happily worn a dress in a while. Say hey to 20-something, sassy Dee. ETA, I am most definitely on the floor because my pupper had wanted snugs. Not because of too many of whatever is in my hand.

I have gay/black/muslim/etc friends! I can't be ____ist/___phobic!

Nope, not for weight loss, just for being healthy while I work to lose weight myself.

"Everything happens for a reason", especially when it is intended to somehow be uplifting. I heard it a lot after my Dad passed away, and it was genuinely intended to be encouraging. I find no solace in it. It's generic and vague.

I've accepted that I shed like some kind of St. Bernard. Haha. I have a friend who swears by it to strengthen her hair and make it appear healthier which I feel like I could benefit from with the coarse grays. Worth a shot!
-
I was looking into the Biotin, my hair is starting to come in gray at my temples and with it, the texture has become more coarse and unmanageable. I'm wondering if that wouldn't hurt to try and see if it would help.

I'm not currently, which is why I asked for people's input? I know my post number over there makes me look all shiny and brand new, but this isn't my first rodeo. I have been battling with myself for a long time to take back control of my health and get back to where I once was, I'm out of the loop, and there are a lot of…

I just mean stuff like creatine, pre-workout for those that utilize that, etc, -- performance and recovery aids. Was just looking for whatever input about what everyone puts into their mouths besides food/water to fuel their fitness/health/whathaveyou.

I don't have health insurance, so I couldn't tell you what my doctor has to say. I know that I personally benefit from a low-sugar, high protein beverage after a workout, and occasionally enjoy mixing some protein powder into my coffee since it is often the only thing I consume on a busy work morning. I'm trying to make a…

Honestly, of all the thing you could have binged on, you picked a good one. A body in motion stays in motion-- just keep moving forward and put it behind you! Just a speed bump is all!

Nasty. Hard pass, no temptation there.
