I weigh daily, first thing in the morning, after using the bathroom. My scale syncs to a trending app and then to mfp. Weighing daily keeps me engaged in the process.

One year, for Christmas, my husband opened his presents from me and it was box after box of Victoria’s Secret lingerie for me. I told him that, technically, he would enjoy it as much as I would. Sigh, that was a great Christmas. 😁

Watching some of the Hellraiser movies. All I have to say is that Douglas Bradley should’ve played Pinhead in all of them. The other actors don’t do justice to the character.

@ploomka I don’t do IF, although I naturally eat within an 8 hour window. Forgive me if I’m wrong, but my understanding of IF is that you still eat all of your calories but within a precise window of time.

Welcome to the community! 🧡 If you haven’t already, read the stickies at the top of the getting started forum. All you need to do to lose weight is stay in a calorie deficit. Buy a food scale. Weigh everything you eat and log into the food diary. Good luck with your journey!

I drink 80 ounces. I lean towards dehydration so I try to stay well hydrated.

Looking at your picture, you don’t look like you have much to lose. How did you decide on 1200 calories? That’s the bare minimum allowed for women. What did mfp assign you, what rate of loss did you choose and how much do you have to lose?

You don’t need Fuhrman to lose weight; you only need a calorie deficit. I’ve lost just shy of 40 pounds so far without Fuhrman’s help or any structured diet or fad way of eating. @khristiana I’m interested to know what you find unhealthy about the Mediterranean diet.

When I was still working and going to the gym, I went at 4:30 am, so it didn’t interfere with my time with my husband after work. Now I’m retired and don’t do the gym anymore. Fit it in where you can; whatever works best for you.

I just got a new rescue dog. No tree for me. I do real trees so it’s just too much with three dogs. If I had a bigger house, I would figure out a way.
