  • I’m not sure you could use your common sense logic. Manufacturers size differently. If your jeans are by the same company, you might be right. Well done, in any event. 👍

  • I researched keto but didn’t choose it because of the dietary restrictions. It would not have been sustainable for me. Do a ton of research beforehand. It’s not something that you just start one day without knowing what you’re in for. Good luck.

  • I don’t buy smaller clothes ahead of time. What if they don’t fit right after you lose the weight? You won’t necessarily have the same contours after weight loss. I never threw out my smaller clothing. I’m finding that the legs of my old jeans fit but I can’t button them comfortably. Some day.
  • My late husband used to love asking alexa to play music for him. It drove me nuts. In a good way. ❤️

  • I use a lot of spices and herbs and don’t add them to my food diary. Just a personal choice I made at the beginning in order to keep my sanity. I typically leave myself extra calories every day to cover things like this.
  • GI Joe. My Barbies kicked Ken out when they learned that Joe had movable parts.
  • I can’t control myself with gumdrops so I tossed them on day one and haven’t had one since. Any of my other favorite foods, I fit into my daily calories.
  • Just log your food. See where the numbers land. You don’t have to consider it “counting”. If you’re happy with your weight, that’s great. If you’re in good health, even better. Enjoy your journey!
  • Welcome to onederland! 🥳
  • I’ll make a note of what I’m eating and log it as best I can.
  • One of my favorite ways to use broccoli is to sautee in butter and then crack a couple of eggs over it. I also like to toss it into the pasta water for the last couple of minutes the pasta is cooking then drain all and toss in your favorite sauce. Steam and drizzle with garlic oil. Raw in salads. This is best with summer…

  • @Amyg1982 fluctuations and plateaus are a normal part of the weight loss process. Typically, I don’t let them bother me. There’s certainly never a need to apologize for it. If it happens to me and is an usual gain, I just look again at my diary entries. Did I choose an incorrect database entry? Was it a higher sodium day…
  • A very handsome guy. If I were a girl dog, I’d be all over that. 🧡

  • Pan fried perch on french bread with garlic aioli and melted cheddar.
  • I eat a pescatarian diet so look forward to grocery shopping. I stop in the produce section, then bakery, then the seafood counter, then get eggs, butter and cheese. Done. Easy peasy. I rarely stray from the outer corners of the store. The inner aisles are where the confusion lies.
  • I’d rather have a root canal. 🤕

  • Welcome to the community! 🧡 If you haven’t already, read the stickies at the top of the getting started forum. I’m 61. I lose 5 pounds at a time. That means my next goal is always in reach. Buy a food scale. Weigh everything you eat and log into the food diary. Good luck with your journey!
