I originally bought a caramel stevia syrup for coffee... But I want used to stevia yet, so I have it away. Now I wish I had it!

Got the original coconut recipe in the freezer, taste great even before freezing!!

I need a shake, but my blender is in storage.

@Pamela_Sue I started in June, and most that started same week on my friends list are already gone. Glad we're still here sticking to it!!

@88olds I tried weight watchers, but at the location I was at no one conversed. They came, weighed, listened to the speaker, and bolted. No real way to connect to others, but Gilbert, AZ wasn't known for it's friendliness, ;) @corinasue1143 I've been on and off MFP for years too, this is the first time using the community.…

@Boxn_n_Bellydancn 10 years is very impressive!!! I was trying to keep a small tight knit friends list. But it just kept growing. I did cut it back today mostly to the people who sign on, log, and converse. I just didn't realize I had so many on list who disappeared.

Thanks for all the replies!!

Most of the groups aren't too strict. Like example: the keto group has plenty of members that don't eat keto, but like talking about low carbs or the health issues discussed. I hit join group on several groups, and then can always leave group if it's not a good fit. I've left plenty!
-
I definitely recommend the groups if trying keto. The two groups that are active are The Keto group and The Low Carber Daily Forum group. Good luck!

That would be a healthier way for me to look at it!

For me, it depends on who the comment is coming from. If it's my daughter or boyfriend saying, "Damn, you've lost more" or "You're looking great, weightloss is showing." I know they're sincere and care about my health. People on MFP, especially friends list, who comment on progress, I like. Most are on the same mission or…

I love almond milk! I haven't tried macadamia milk, I need to! When I want a cup of milk, I drink almond milk. It tastes better than cow's milk to me. Tried cashew milk recently, because it was on sale. It was thicker than the almond milk, like real cream, but didn't taste as good as the almond.

@little_schmidt Good luck at keto. The Keto group and The Low Carber Daily Forum group are great for active discussions and finding others eating keto.

I love MFP. I've been off and on for years, when I put on a little (or a lot of) weight with injuries, I always hop back on, get my calories in check, and lose... And maintain until the next injury, lol. Good luck on here. Great place to track, log, and find support.

My fiance has this, coupled with fibromyalgia, fatty liver, and hypothyroidism.

Could be retraining a little water once you're up and moving around. My weight fluctuates so much daily, I threw my scales out. Sounds like you don't need to go to this extreme, because you seem to have a healthy mindset about it and not stressed over it.

I deal with a lot of food restrictions. It's a *****. I also cook everything at home, whole foods, from scratch. Just so I know exactly what I'm consuming. Almost everytime I eat out, I end up bloated and hurting. I have found a few things I can make up for quicker grab and go. And add olive oil to just about everything I…

I've learned to heal. Pushing to keep going on top of injuries, can cause further damage. Too many times have I overdone it. Elevate swelled part, Ice 10-15 minutes on, 1 hour off, 10-15 minutes on, 1 hour off. Rotate ice on and off. Rest and heal.

This! With added, it takes time! Having a new baby is stressful enough, don't stress about losing the weight gained. Set a practical calorie goal, and the weight will come off.

Above comment is so true, I've had to distance myself from a toxic mother who has told me I'm fat my entire life, even during youth at size 3-size 5, 5'8" Now I have the ability to recognize toxic people and ignore their dangers. It's sad that I find more support on here, than I ever did from family. And now in real life,…

Sedentary is meant for people in wheel chairs, bed ridden, desk job sitting literally all day going home and plopping down in front of tv until bed. Slightly active is up moving around a little. Household chores even. So this doesn't include my exercise, it's a lifestyle setting. I try to do 25 minutes of light cardio and…

Agree with all of the above. After the yo yo dieting, might take a few weeks to reset. Give it time, I think having energy and feeling more satisfied is just as important as losing weight. I did WW for less than a month, because I felt like I was starving. Quit, jumped on MFP, lost almost 100 and maintained. Never felt…

@kshama2001 I just do 1 cup dry rice (I prefer basmati), pinch of saffron, tbsp of cardamom, 1 cup apricots (chopped up, I prefer the Turkish dried ones), 1 cup raisins. 2 carrots cleaned and grated (shredded). Salt and pepper... Optional: tsp cinnamon, or a couple of seared and cubed chicken breast. Can double rice for a…

Agree with above comments. Eating too low of calories combined with exercise is dangerous. Put in a realistic weight loss goal (I try to set mine in the middle, I think I have mine set at a 1lb loss a week, slightly active, and it gives me 1689 to eat daily). Set honest activity level, hit calorie goal and eat back most…

Transformations are awesome. It's really cool seeing people hit goals and drop weight or bulk up!

Yeah, I don't get the whole date site attitude here! If I was wanting to sext or exchange dirty pics, I'd be on OkCupid or POF, LOL! I love MFP, and my favorite part is my friends list and feed!! I always suggest to people try and get a good friends list going!

In the past when I hit plateaus, I would just change a couple of things in my normal routines and things start moving again. Like adding in a couple of short fast sprints in my walks. It if using a stationary bike or elliptical, push hard and fast a couple of times during workout. Eat something high carb or high protein…

Also, most cities in the US have bread outlets, food banks, or churches that pass out foods. I used to shop at bread outlets. Churches and food banks have dried rice and beans, and canned goods (items mentioned above--for free). Yep, I buy my eggs at a grocery outlet when I'm broke. $3.50 for a 5 dozen box on sale, $5.00…

I'm active on my feed, I try to read through as many diaries as it will allow me (app with glitches). I'm very honest though, won't hit like or comment "Great day" if calories are way too low or way excessively over. I try not to sugar coat or humor people. I don't generally PM with opposite gender unless food or health…

Sounds good!!! I love simple rice dishes!! My favorite is cardamom, saffron, dried apricots, shredded carrots, and raisins. It's beautiful, quick and easy, smells and taste amazing!
