LOL, I use canned goods for my hand weights... One can of soup or beans is usually right at 2 lbs (15.9 oz). They work!! ;)

Yep, been there, done that. Not while cycling... I'm a walker. And it never fails no matter what state I've lived in or what city, when ever I first start walking to lose weight...d-bags always laugh or hollar out the car windows. I just take pleasure in knowing that I can lose my weight and get fit, and someday they'll be…

The recipe calls for 3/4 mozzarella cheese. 2 tbsp cream cheese (microwaved together 90 seconds) add egg, add in 1/2 cup almond flour. Bake for 10 pull out, top, throw back in. Well, I didn't have cream cheese, and don't own a microwave. So, I melted in small sauce pan, 2 tbsp butter and maybe 2-4 tbsp grated parmesan…

I'll run through my screenshots see if I can find it, and remember my altercations. I don't get cravings too often for anything.

Agree with Sunny_Bunny_, I personally try to avoid foods that aren't whole foods/clean. All the marketed products for Keto, Atkins, etc seem to be expensive and over processed. My daughter eats a lot of the Atkins foods, she loves them. But she's in her 20s and her body can handle the processed foods better than mine can…

@Ecosse2018 Thanks!! Have you tried some of the recipes for keto desserts and breads? I have found a few through trial and error that really hit cravings for starchy or sweet treats. Like I made a low carb chocolate ice cream that was delicious and textured like ice cream (accidentally froze the chocolate avocado pudding…

This one is a touchy subject for me. Big frames and broad shoulders/hips run in my family. I say I'm the runt at 5'8" in my Amazonian family. Most the women are over 6' tall in family. I didn't end up large framed, but my youngest sister is 6' tall and broader than most men. Even at her smallest weight, with bones showing…

This is my second time losing weight, this time weight gained with illness, and first was after injury that made me immobile for over a year. I never did cheat days or felt the need, because I never denied myself anything I wanted or craved. I did exercise portion control. If I craved sweets, I would allow myself to go to…

I started at similar place. I was around 230 5'8" originally it gave me 1410 calories. Started losing very quickly. I wanted to slow my loss down a little, changed goals. Now eating around 1600-1700 and still losing. Nothing on MFP is set in stone. Can always play with goals and numbers until you start seeing the results…

I had tried a few recipes for pizza crust, and all were bad. I finally found one, everyone in house agreed was better than regular crust. Altered recipe a little, because I like NYC/Jersey/Philly style pizza. I wanted to be able to fold like real Northeast pizza. I'd have to look back through my screenshots to find it.

Thanks!! I think adrenaline and endorphin levels along with others have changed a lot of things going on with body, face, and mood! I feel happier and more relaxed...I believe it shows in pics. :) (Not so much in 4th picture....lol been crying for a week over a bad breakup) ;)

I had deformities of loose skin on my upper arms from heart failure (caused by eating too low of calories and exercising too much), water retention weight gain when heart failed. I eat keto and do high reps with 1-2 lb hand weights... Even while watching tv. My arms are smaller than I ever thought they'd be, the skin has…

Yep. I try to avoid corn like the plague. My parents both grew up on farms, and as a kids we didn't eat corn. Because my parents said it was for animals not humans. That they only give to animals when they want to fatten them up for the slaughter.

Yes, that's when I started making the "keto" foods. Keto peanut butter, cocoa, and/or coconut fat bombs. Keto ice creams. Keto breads. Including fathead pizza crust. Cravings are gone again.

I would be trying to figure out what is causing bloat. What foods are triggering discomfort? I have a disease that causes severe bloat and pain. I tried charcoal and didn't find it helpful. Things that have helped: garlic (raw or capsules), ginger (juice or tea-I prefer juice Ginger Soother, sold at Whole Foods for stomach…

That's the one!!

I feel like losing is turning back the clock for me. I've noticed a lot of hormonal changes as I lose weight. I think the hormonal changes show in my face as much as the weightloss. I'm 45 years old, and my daughter says I could pass for her age lately. I don't know if I could pass for her age, but my complexion and dark…

@lillypade I had to cut carbs due to extreme carb sensitivities that caused bloat, pain, and discomfort. I highly recommend joining The Keto group and The Low Carber Daily Forum group on here. There's a lot of links and discussions about macros. This is straight out of my physiology book: The liver converts excess protein…

My favorite vegan proteins were Sweet Earth Grounds and Tempeh. Both were delicious! The grounds can substitute beef in any recipe (cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers, tacos, etc). And my favorite tempeh recipe was tempeh salad (shredded carrots, dill weed, vegan mayo, soy sauce, season salt, diced onion, celery *or cucumbers*…

It's listed as maltodextrin/maltodextrose... Dried modified corn syrup. It's in almost every plain white table salt sold in America.

I will. I work in a clothing store.... Might have to pick up a pair of size 7/8s jeans or shorts to try and work into next.

@riffraff2112 Thanks! Yeah. The first pictures I took June 11 were a couple of days after starting to log on MFP. I originally took them for my eyes only (they're pretty graphic). I have made a lot of comments through the forums about progress pictures in place of scales for myself (scales can be discouraging or get…

@loveswalking It's varied. I started the first few days at 50 grams, but didn't care where they came from (veggie, fruits, sugar creamer, sugar, rice, raw honey, etc). After a few days of cutting carbs, I naturally dropped lower. 11-26 net carbs of all veggies and fruits, and a little dairy. About a month ago, I raised…

Welcome! I have to keep sodium fairly low from history of heart failure. I like "No Salt" salt substitute. It turns bitter when cooked... But sprinkled on foods after they're cooked, tastes pretty good. Even after my heart healed, I have to watch sodium... Causes edema on me. Like can't drink Gatorade or sports drinks...…

Thanks, it's been a crazy trip! One more size to lose!!

Thanks!! I've been in shock at rate of loss and watching body dissolve daily!

Thanks!!

I know it was hit accidentally. I think it's a bad location on screen. I think they should've left hug on the outside, and put dislike where the woo used to be.

I am going to assume someone accidently hit the disagree button when scrolling. Erg! I almost dislike the dislike button at much as I did the woo button!!
