I started back a little over a year ago with the same mentality. My goal was to get out at least 2-3 times a week. So far, no burn out and some weeks it's only 1 run depending on what's going on. I've slowly built up to 4 miles but it's still interval running and I'm ok with that, just get out and do it. :)

Im 5'2 and jog around 12 minute pace for about 3 miles 3 times a week. I also have asthma arms running makes it a lot better. In the beginning 5 years Ago it was more like 14 minute miles.

I had a fitbit but was allergic to it. I haven't missed it one bit

I have chronic low back pain as well and I run. extended warm ups and cool downs, trunk rotations, and ice helps. sometimes I have to start out slower in my jog to warm up all the muscles & tendons. Low sugar diet helps reduce the inflamation. I also do core exercises for my diastis recti that really helps alleviate the…

YEY!!! I"ve been trying to get out and run every other day since gym is closed. I'm also taking my eight year old for walks/bike rides on my "rest" days from running. Got to have something to keep from going stir crazy!

What do you mean by counting carbs. Are you speaking simple carbs or complex carbs?
-
I've been doing the same but have been on wk 7 for 3 weeks now.

Imagine Dragons gave me quite the pep!

I don't think the red face ever goes away. I get really red too after my workouts and you are right. It takes about an hour :)

I find it sooo much easier to run outside. Treadmill gets boring after about 7 minutes for me. Outside I have better focal points. :) Looks like you are doing just fine!

shoes & slowing down worked for me when I first started!

Me too! Used to feel like I was breathing in icicles. Running with this program has actually helped soo much. I don't have any issues that I had a child when it comes to breathing during exercise.

Yes don't be ashamed if you repeat weeks or runs. I've been re-doing C25K since December and have been on week 7 for about 3 weeks now. As long as you keep getting out there and do what you can you will improve slowly.

I don't think the treadmills are accurate. They would have to be adjusted to your specific height, weight, age. on the Runners world website the calculator there says I burn about 100 calories per mile whether walked or ran.

I hit up the gym at lunch time attend eat at my desk when i get back. Just a 30-40 min workout each day and that has helped a lot. It's my ONLY time to do it.

I find motivation can be very difficult to overcome. I might be an anomaly but my motivation to "go through the motions" came from sinking into a deep depression. Some days I just go through the motions and check my mind out of what I'm really doing. It's my time to not think about why i'm depressed and just get a workout…

I'm re-doing C25K again and am on Wk 7. I've probably done it several times and life gets in the way. No advice just support! This time around I've been doing this on Treadmill instead of outdoors while listening to podcasts.

Yes My favorite Murder! They are very popular, the girls sound like they are airheads but are really smart. It's kind of amusing. I also listen to Mom's & Murder but that's cause I like the stupid jokes.
-
I like to go with 70's rock, classic type music. Or I'll listen to murder investigation podcasts.

I frequently stop in the middle of training and do the same as FireFLy 72 suggests. I repeat the week or last workout I was just on and see how I do, then move on from there. It depends on how long you are away from running but a couple days wont take much away this early in the training plan. I've just started wk 5 and…

I don't race, I run by myself and I really am happy that I just got out there and did it. Though I'm still getting back into it and my running pace is the pace of a tall person's fast walk, I count it as running. I focus on how good I feel after I am done and how much stronger/better I feel about myself. It's the only…

Thank you for the photos! Absolutely beautiful

I'm working on losing 20 pounds and am 9 pounds in so far. Logging my food I have found it's difficult to find food options to make it too the 1300 without going over on sugar, FAT, or carbs. But i'm losing so I guess it's alright? working out @ lunch running on treadmill and weight lifting a couple days a week.

I workout @ lunch and I take an hour. 10 min drive there, 5 min change, 30 min workout (supersets & interval cardio), 5-10 min shower, 10 min drive back. I literally shower neck down sometimes rinsing my face so it only takes about 2 minutes. then I get dressed and i'm out of there. I strip down to bra, shorts and flip…

Me too! Will be 40 in July and put on 26 lbs just last year. Need to get strong to rid myself of joint and back pain. Started in November and down 9 lbs so far!

What I have found that helps is to take 1 bad habit at a time and replace it with a good habit. Slowly work in other swaps over time. Weight loss is a journey to a new life style. Don't beat yourself up over a bad binge, allow yourself some cheat days every once in a while.

Here's one not mentioned - if there is a row of about 20 treadmills and only 1 is being used, don't pick either of the treadmills right next to the one being used. (ie same for elipticals, bathrooms, etc)
