Thanks for sharing the "side effects". It's great to be reminded of those!

<3 Love the pics of you with your 'coworker' <3 Glad you're feeling good!

I also love the smell/fresh feel of the laundry dried outside in the sun  I think it's great decision to weigh-in once a week. Weighing in too often can make one obsessive or very reliant on the scale. BTW congrats on your loss already and sticking with OMAD for one year!

Thanks everyone for the advice and support. This past week has been crazy stressful! A lot of things to consider for both positions. A lot of things to prepare (presentations, travel plans, etc). Had a train breakdown even LOL Thankfully it was on my trip BACK. I have been eating on the go and not drinking enough water…

Thank you girls for the cheers. In short, without telling my full life story LOL - I'm in life sciences and have some years experience in the lab. I went back to graduate school to specialize some more and currently trying to get my first position post-graduation, but aiming to work with reports/documentation and NOT in…

Can I just say, that pasta from earlier looks delish... I eat some type of pasta dish at least once a week. Anyway I keep meaning to take some pics of my meals but I keep forgetting. Also, the kitty pics - keep them coming. Regarding getting your step ins - I have a suggestion - if you can commit 15minutes at a time, there…

Can definitely relate to feeling all the symptoms around the period time. I calculate my PMS'ing time and try not to make any important decisions in that time - may sound extreme, but I'm usually in such a foul mood that I'm better off waiting it out LOL Good thing you will "do your time" now and your vacation is in the…

Thanks again for the warm welcome. I think I will have to disappoint you Steph, I'm a pretty boring eater most of the time LOL. So this past week has been a bit stressful, but the good kind. I'm in between jobs and this week I've had some promising phone interviews. A modest loss this week: Height: 5'7 Starting: 240 pounds…

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome <3 Yes you can call me Breksta. As you probably can tell I'm not from the US, so I do apologize in advance for any weird expressions :)

Hi Donnie! Congrats on starting your journey, I have just started recently as well. Best of luck :)

Congratulations on being self-employed!!! Working on your own terms is great, in my opinion! I hope any transition into this is smooth for you. And well done with the weight loss, your journey is inspiring as I'm starting my own.

Thank you both!

Hello everyone, I'm on day 6 of OMAD. I'm 240 pounds and 5'7. I have battled my climbing weight since I was a teenager. I have tried to "do things right", i.e. eat less, move more by counting calories, lose weight slowly and don't go on crash diets. However, I always regained the weight I've lost and in the end I yo-yo'ed…
