Why does a positive rating without a comment add value when a disagree doesn't?

Life, and I don't mean the board game. ;)
-
This could be even more fun if games were posted in the Fun & Games part of MFP. Then again, with all the people playing games by pretending to be single, Chit-Chat would be empty...

And don't forget, after you "score heavily", you'll need some "after gel"...

Unless you have a large safety net stashed away, I'd really avoid moving without having a job lined up. Heck, I won't even leave a job unless I have another lined up without moving. Before leaping, look into the job market there. Also, cost of living, and salaries. It may not be that great of a move, and why they are…

What is this "sex" thing you speak of?

I'm much more of an amber bach or lager drinker, I've found that IPA's are just a bit to tart/bitter for my tastes. But, I'd gladly buy you one. And, while it may be considered rude to turn down a beer given to someone, I don't think it is if it's given to someone who actually enjoys an IPA. ;) BTW, great pic.

Sadly, it's true. It's common knowledge here that many married people like to flirt, play etc with others here. Same is true for many online communities, unfortunately.
-
And probably 99% of them were married too
-
Same here. There's very few I might recognize. But, to me they're just another face in the crowd.

If it is the real actors, I'd hate to see their inbox. Then again, I'd never have a chance so wouldn't even try to message them. :p

Not a problem on the quote, was just kind of a head scratcher for a second. Apologies, I was thinking you were saying that you wouldn't date a man with children and was getting posts crossed. But, you do have me interested in your views as you feel they might offend others.

Even in real life, people can be great at only showing what they want others to see. Online just allows it to be that much more so. I think there's a right time to meet someone in person, and it depends on things such as distance/location, schedules, etc. While I prefer to meet someone as soon as possible, if there's…

Calories burned varies by the individual. Variables such as general conditioning, size, body composition, and intensity all have a big impact on actual calories burned. Add in the inconsistency between apps/devices and it's a mess. For this reason alone, my coach had me disable any activity recording of calories burned.…

Funny that you quoted it as from me. But, it's not. ;) As a man, I have similar views as you when it comes to women. I've been through hell in regards to women with children. So, am very apprehensive on dating women with children. While it's my preference for no children, especially those still at home, if I met the right…

The answer is: It depends. ;)

Best option is hire an Olympic Lifting coach, form is absolutely critical on these lifts. You can do some prepatory work such as stretching, and starting to learn the motions with a broom handle (the coaches I used had me start with one) before moving up to a light bar and then up. Good luck, and enjoy!

Agreed. Also, to be blunt, one can be a 10 on the outside. But, if the inside is only a 1, they're not even appealing to me. Far too many place emphasis on external beauty and think that will compensate for the ugliness that's within.

I'm unsure on the gym aspect. Most 'm familiar with are monthly costs, and not a punch card style. But, could exist and not aware of it.

Minimalism does have a degree of romanticism about it. However, that small of items is almost impossible unless under extreme circumstances in a modern culture. Work also dictates some, or how much stuff one may need. Such as special clothes and equipment, etc. Rent can be expensive, especially if you rent a furnished…

I've really been cutting back on what I have. Having moved recently, put a spotlight on the situation and needing to cut back a lot. So, that's what I'm doing. I've cut down my clothes to just a few days worth, instead of weeks worth. Looking at it, I still think I have way too many. So, time to re-evaluate. Other things,…

It's only a first date, so not a lot of investment. As others have mentioned, you're allowed any kind of deal breakers you'd like. If it's things you can accept, then they aren't that important. But, to me, I could overlook the dental issue if they might be working on it as physical attraction plays an important part of a…

Haven't had much luck with dating apps myself. Best for me is meeting someone in person. Either as a recommendation from a friend, or having met them at a social event at a friend's house. Turned into long term relationships. There are success stories of people on dating apps. Very good friend of mine met his wife on…

This is my view as well. It's Star Wars, so I'll finish the series. However, it's kinda like a train wreck. You know it's going be a bad ending but you can't turn your head away from it. To quote "Fanboys" in regards to "The Phantom Menace": https://youtu.be/kwyFyzwusk8

I've taken on roles and responsibilities with high physical demands that people far less than half my age were afraid to do, or simply couldn't. Not because they were physically incapable. But, more so that they were psychologically not ready to. While I'd like to say "Age is only a number". The truth is that it's a…

Thanks. Yeah, the wooden hangers I prefer due to more natural material and sturdy. I slowly replaced all the plastic and metal hangers over a few months time. But, what I should have been doing is cutting back on the clothes I had instead since I really only wear the same few things 99% of the time. Part of the reason why…

I'm willing to look past your belly issues if you're willing to look past mine. ;)

As others have mentioned, it depends on if the person is honestly willing to forgive (but, not forget) about what happened in the past. It also depends on how much each of you are willing to be open and work on making it happen. it isn't a guarantee it'll work, as there are none. I always say to think of a relationship as…

I haven't seen a movie in a while now. Probably at least 1.5 months. In my free time I've been watching Babylon 5 and the Mandalorian
