@RisingAboveIt I totally understand where you’re coming from. I’ve gained 30 pounds over 2 years, and it has been a challenge losing the weight. I am finally on track now that I am using MFP. I started at 188, and I have lost 4.4lbs in a week and a half. Some days are harder than others, but I push myself as best as I can.…

But I’ll figure it out. My goal for week 2 is to exercise 5 days and to lose 2 lbs. Good luck to everyone in week 2.

@mirendybryant sometimes it’s nothing we’re doing wrong. It’s good you made an appointment with the doctor (just to be sure it’s nothing medical). It could also be muscle you’re gaining or the time of the day you weighed yourself. Better weeks to come 😉.

Hello everyone. I am from Buffalo,NY. I have gained 30 lbs that I need to lose, but I haven’t had the motivation to do it until now. I deal with a lot of chronic pain including migraines, and it is discouraging to always be in some type of pain and not able to workout. So, I’ve decided to try to push through the pain as…

Hello all! I am new to this challenge, but not new to MFP. My goal is weight loss and maintain once I lose the weight. I gained 30lbs, and that is a very uncomfortable amount of weight gain for my height 5’6 and my age 44. I am currently 188lbs, and my ideal weight is 145. I haven’t had the discipline to do what I needed…

Hello! I am new to this group and back on MFP for the 3rd time. I work from home, and deal with some health issues that has limited me from exercising. After gaining 30lbs, not being able to fit comfortably or at all in my clothes, and not liking my body, I have decided to finally do something about it. I will push myself…

Hello! I am back on MFP, but this time, I am here to stay. I have 30lbs to lose, but I intend to lose a bit more to be in what is considered the healthy range for my age and height. I am sure I could use support for those days when I may feel less motivated. I am also here as a support to others... 😉

Hello ladies! I am also starting over. I have had more “day 1’s” then I can count. I gained a little over 30lbs, and my goal is to get down to a healthy weight for my height and age. My goal weight is 145, and I am 5’6. Happy weight loss to you all and good luck on your journeys!
