heybales, this is very helpful stuff, thank you. I'll take a closer look tomorrow, when hopefully I can read and think at the same time! I did do a stride length test, 540 metres and 640 steps, and came up with .91. I'm 6ft2. I could set my Garmin 235 back to auto. I think .91is pretty reasonable though.
