I have almost the same story! I lost 60ish lbs about 5 years ago and was in great shape. I had my son in March and have about 30lbs to lose. I’m looking for some new active friends to keep me motivated. I will add you!

Adding you! I’m looking for more active friends as well!

I have always been really sensitive to carbs and do best on a high protein diet. I recently tried Keto but that amount of fat just seemed unnecessary and I didn't like it. However, it did teach me that health fats can help keep you full, and not all fat is bad. I eat about 45% protein, 35% fat and 20% carbs. Lately I have…

I've been avoiding posting on here, because I have to stop 30DS.. I've been struggling with some core/back issues. I went to the doctor yesterday and I have diastasis recti, my abdominal muscles are separated by about 2.5 inches. That's why I've been struggling. I'd been modifying some moves already, but apparently…

Level 2 day 9 today. Noticing a difference but not as much as I’d like.. I know it’s because I’m having to modify a lot. I will update measurements tomorrow!
-
Done with Day 6, level 2. I’m going to grad school and it’s midterms week so I’m bad at posting.. but I’m still in it!

You are not alone. I had a baby on March 13, which is the weekend the state of TX shut down. I had already been on bed rest prior to that for a month. I’ve been home for about 4 months now and have only left to go to the doctor (for the baby). I have an autoimmune disorder and my younger son has asthma so we don’t go…

Level 2 day 3 done. Took another rest day because I feel like I’m being a little too hard on my body. I felt better and had more endurance during today’s workout.

Level 2 day 2 done! Level 2 is a struggle for me. I feel like it requires a lot of strength that I don’t have, so I’m really having to dial it back. Today I added a little bit of elliptical at the beginning and in the middle to get my heart rate up.

Level 2 day 1 done! Level 2 was rough! I’ve done 30DS before and never had to stick the beginner moves before this round. I can definitely tell how lack of a strong core really effects my workouts. Easing into level 2 for sure!

Swapped my rest/active days around because I am a grad student and stayed up wayyyy too late the night before last. Today was my day 10. I'm going to switch to level 2 tomorrow. Here are my updated stats: Day 1 Day 10 Weight: 176 174.4 Chest: 39.5 38.5 Stomach: 43.5 42.5 Hips: 44 43.5 Thigh: 25 24.5 Calf: 14.25 14.5 Bicep:…

Day 8 done! Will update measurements after day 10!

Awesome!! Sounds good!!

Day 7 done. I think I screwed up on my day on the last post. Lol This is what having 4 kids will do to your brain! :D I'm feeling really good today and even went for a 30 min walk with my hubby and the baby before 30DS! I am ready to finish and see results already! I think I'm going to do Ripped in 30 in July.

It’s a channel on amazon prime, $6.99 a month (I think), the first month is free. It has all of jillian’s workouts and more! I love it so far!

Day 5 done! Yesterday was my rest day. I upped to 5lb weights today. I’m starting to feel more like my pre-pregnancy self, though I still have plenty of weight to lose. I like that I’m beginning to feel stronger. Bicycle crunches were easier today which is huge because day 1 I could hardly hold my legs at 90 degrees. Crazy…

Hi Melissa, I’ve had hashi’s for about 8 years now. I struggle with belly fat too. I’ve always assumed it was due to cortisol too.. I do best when I get cardio in daily. It really helps to lower my stress levels. During times of high stress (I’m a grad school student), I take a b complex vitamin. Something that’s been a…

Day 4 done! My abs are so sore. Jumping jacks were hard today. Lol
-
Day 3 done! I did not want to do today.. I’m just exhausted. Not to mention I am soo sore! I pushed through anyway and I’m glad I did! I know it’s days like this that can either make me or break me! I’m planning on doing Level 1- 4 days on, 1 day rest, then 4 days on 1 day rest. Then go to Level 2 and do the same.

Day 2 Done! Today was harder for some reason. My 2 month old was whining most of the time. In all fairness I could have chosen a better time to do it for him, but I really wanted to knock it out. Here's my measurements! Starting Weight:176 Chest: 39.5 Stomach: 43.5 Hips: 44 Thigh: 25 Calf: 14.25 Bicep: 13.5 Neck: 12 Wrist:…

I am going to rest every 5th day I think! So this Friday and next Wednesday.

Level 1 Day 1 complete! I did it with my 6 year old which made it so much better! haha I used 3lb weights this time around because I am trying to ease into strength again. I have 5lbs weights I can hopefully work up to pretty soon. Starting weight, 176. I'll update inches and weight lost every 10 days. Anyone have plans…

I am almost 3 months postpartum so I know I am going to have to do the modified version this go around. But my main goal is to rebuild my strength and hopefully lose inches in the process. I will take pictures and measurements tomorrow and post!

Thanks ladies! I think I added everyone! If I missed you or if anyone else sees this, feel free to add me!

I have an 8, 7, and 6 year old and just had a baby in March. It’s really hard to find motivation most days.. Especially while homeschooling my kids right now with covid. Feel free to add me! I have about 35-40lbs to lose and could use the accountability too!
-
I have 40lbs to lose too! Also looking for friends to keep me motivated and accountable!
-
I just had a baby March 13th too! I have about 35lbs to lose. Adding you!
