Usually fine, unless it’s distracting you. Since I teach, only appropriate during breaks! Taking up a majority of the arm rest on a flight. Sorry I thought I was in the last page :/

A lot of women do not enjoy being catcalled and it actually makes them feel worse and self conscious. Sometimes we just want to exist in the world doing our thing without having to be treated as objects. [edited by MFP mods to remove quote]

I do a 14/10 IF...I don’t think it really has an impact on my body that differs from when I was not doing this, as I’m still eating the same amount of calories and the same foods. I enjoy eating larger meals in shorter time frames personally. I think the one benefit to my IF is that having the fast schedule gets me to bed…

Way to listen to your body and give a needed break!

My boyfriend snores when he’s had alcohol or is tired...but lately it’s getting worse and happening constantly. He didn’t believe me so I recorded it one night every time it woke me and He was mortified....it’s killing my sleep by waking me 10-20 times during the night. I’m so cranky and exhausted. HELP! I might kill him

Woo! Enjoy Paris!

I hope it works! I draw a small clean towel around my neck which helps with the face touching Bc I’m able to grab it to wipe! It’s the worst to be doing so much work/feelings so good to have the breakouts come!

Today’s aim was to keep a steady heart rate of 155-170 no breaks between machine swaps Warm up-15 AB HIIT exercise, 2 circuits, just not at HIIT heart rate Round 1 12 min on the elliptical at high interval 12 min on the bike at a stead high resistance Round 2 12 min on the elliptical at high interval 12 min on the bike at…

Honestly, if there is one you want to do and get a group together, create a post about it. Lead a challenge if it doesn’t exist—that will super motivate you!

Yes! Finally, a time in your life where you can take care of yourself first! Enjoy it!

I’m not sure if there are any active MFP challenges right now—but I’ll say the ones I’ve seen thus far haven’t been completely motivating...the last one I know was the Michelobe Ultra challenge which was basically to log like 10 workouts and then also log drinking the beer...they all seem to be sponsored by companies and…

Take other measurements to understand success too...use a tape measure and also take photos each week in the same outfit to see how the fit changes. It’s important to keep you motivated for those moments when the scale goes up and your other measurements are down or more toned. Now that I’m working on toning more often,…

That might be water weight :).

Please keep in mind that height and current weight also height factor into your burned calories per day...The poster’s friend is tall and currently over 300 pounds...that could make a huge difference in the calories burned each day simply by functioning that might be very different from you. Just based on statistics, that…

Here’s what you do...you say nothing and keep doing the healthier plan that you’re on for the long-run. Let’s say she sticks to the 1200 and doesn’t eat back her deficit giving her 900-1000 or less calories a day to function. What’s going to happen is she’s going to completely burn out and stop her plan very quickly—or…

Agree with Nippybadger above...you don’t have to push for a minute everyday—judge how you feel and where your body is at before you push further. That moment you feel “I can do more” go for it. There is no shame in working up to it at a pace that works best for you.

I always recommend trying to find things you love doing and that don’t feel forced so you feel more motivated. Since you’re just starting up, if you’re following a work out plan, maybe start by dividing it in half and working up to it, or allowing more breaks. If you’re doing cardio on a machine, try intervals...do a…

Woohoo! My cross country coach in high school always complained my strides were too short. The trick to improving stride is actually in your upper body. For me, I needed to build more upper body strength and work on bringing down my arms so I had a proper swing. He even made me run with coke cans filled with sand to…

For me personally, I started finding more calorie dense foods to add to my diet...over time I found I had better results if I stayed close to my allotted calories rather than having a 200-400 calorie deficit each day. The key is to play around with it to see what works for you.

Thanks! The more it looks like I’ve peed myself, the more I’ve gotten up in that zone! Today was a serious contender for looking like I need to invest in some depends! 😂

Arm weight training and some ab HIIT 10 minute elliptical interval warm up (upped a level!) 25 minute bike ride at hard intervals that focused on getting my heart rate up above 175 every other minute. I upped several levels from the last time I did this 4x500m row with 30 second rests in between as hard as possible. PR by…

First, I’ll say I have never looked at anyone getting out there and being active and judged their weight or looked down on their appearance. Doesn’t even cross my mind....I might think, man, I need to get to the gym today too, but that’s about it. I’m always proud of my fellow comrades fighting the daily fight and getting…

What’s funny is I’m a tall gal and I have gotten envious of short gals in the past...my feet and hands are so big...I feel like sometimes disproportionate...and my hips are wider...I’ve been envious of how petite the features are on short women...smaller and more defined! So, grass is always greener, eh?

So, keep in mind, those are average weights and do not take into account the fact that different people have different percentages of fat and muscle. While your BMI might barely calculate to the obese category—that’s just an average stat—and most haven’t been hitting the gym that often for some time. So you might have more…

I don’t think size 8 or medium are fat! You’re just fit! I think it’s time to evaluate why you think you are fat Bc you aren’t!

I am so sorry for your loss, and I’m glad you’re learning how to take care of yourself and thinking about what might interfere with that. I am a firm believer in regular therapy for all—I can’t even imagine what losing a child must be like, so having dedicated weekly support is always good if you can afford it (or if your…

I’d start by seeking friends with similar interests to get you back out there and to give you a network of support. That being said, it’s not easy just to go out there and make friends either! I met my boyfriend of the past 4 years by being introduced by friends...so that’s what worked for me!

Girl, it’s hard to survive traumatic experiences and take care of yourself...but you survived it. You are a strong and powerful woman for doing that—and that’s fierce and sexy! And now you’re in a place where you understand how you got through that and that you need to start taking care of yourself and nurturing your inner…
