If you eat like a Puritan 6 days a week, sometimes you need a day where you don't sweat what you eat as hard. I wouldn't make it a habit, but every once in a while is fine

I never get snacky at night, but I was eating a lot of trash at work, so I changed my diet to fairly high protein and most of the carbs I get are from brown rice and oats.

I was running somewhere between a 1200-1500 calorie deficit on just food along with lifting 6x a week, so I went to a 1000 calorie deficit on just food and I feel much better. The speed of weight loss has dropped, but I'm not skipping the gym because I'm tired anymore.

Watching her videos really helped me get used to not caring how my food tastes. I've had a pretty unhealthy relationship with food my whole life, and I was using it to congratulate myself, but now I find that I don't care how what I'm eating tastes like as long as I'm hitting my macros.

I was cutting like 1200 calories a day, and I felt miserable, so I think you have to balance speed and comfort.
