Hi all! I am here, been off track for the whole long weekend. Back to watching my carbs this morning. Scale reflected my choices over the holiday but I'm sure it will fall off fast since I KNOW I didn't actually gain 4 lbs in 1 day :-) SW: 302 12/2/19 : 269.6 Goals for the month: *Follow Low carb 100 % Including Christmas!…

agreed, it's the only one I check daily!

My goodness that is a big change! Good luck with your move! See you in December :-)

Can you have it altered and taken in?

@shorepine I value our family dinners too so I have chosen to fast in the morning and just have a late breakfast (this is hard because I am a roll out of bed and eat right away person), which is easier schedule wise since I'm just at my desk. I'm going to give it a shot and see how it goes, I am sticking with low carb…

Ate until 9:50 last night so I am in the last 40 minutes of my 14 hour fast.... I am READY for breakfast!

@aliciap0116 Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I do have some late nights where I don't get home from church to eat until 9ish, so I downloaded the Zero app and can start my fast right after my last meal and it will let me know when it is time to eat again. I am a breakfast person so I anticipate mornings being rough in…

Thinking of adding Intermittent fasting into my low carb.... I'm thinking 14/10 to start eating from 11a-9p. Does anyone have experience with IF?

Hey guys! I am super proud of my decisions over the weekend, we went to a friends house for dinner Saturday and I had no control over what was served. I limited my carbs all day so that I would be able to fit whatever was for dinner in. We had Spaghetti, I was served a huge portion of noodles and put back over half before…

Been doing pretty well, going over on calories some days but always under my carb goal which is my priority. Weight has been coming down every morning so I must be doing ok :-) FYI : Went to olive garden last night to celebrate my daughter's bday, had the zoodle primavera with grilled chicken, it was delicious, highly…

Welcome to all the new faces! There have been a ton of posts since my last so I can reply to everyone but it looks like you guys are rocking it! I weighed a dumbbell on my new scale and it was accurate so I'm guessing it was my old scale that was off. Either way the numbers are moving down again so that's all that matters…

@bluffgirl67 I haven't yet, I need to have a new package of something to weigh first. I will test it out once I have something to test with :-)
-
thanks, I appreciate that.

I don't know if I mentioned this already but my new scale weighs me about 6 lbs heavier than my old one.... a little frustrating but this is the scale i am keeping so I'm just gonna go with it. Currently my scale shows 52.4 % body fat.... which sadly is what I was figuring. It is a staggering thing to realize more than…

but you got some exercise in! :-)

Hey guys, got my new scale and it auto syncs with MFP so that will be helpful! It weighs me heavier than my last scale but I'm not worries anbout that I know each machine differs. Have been off for the past few days but getting refocused tomorrow. Meal prepping today and buckling down! Goals next week. Eat on plan 7/7 days…

Thanks! I am going to focus on lowering carb intake and hitting the gym, uping water. And I got my new scale that calculates body fat so I am hoping that number will show improvement through time.
-
ordered a scale that measures Body fat % today... hoping it will help me feel more in control by seeing progress even if it is not in my weight.

[quote= Doing weekly check in today instead of tomorrow. I have to be in Nashville with my momma to see if she can have her bladder removed bc of cancer. She has already had one kidney removed and the other isn't functioning well so she hasn't had chemo since this summer. Long almost 5yr 3cancer story there but we are…

this is exactly how I feel!

@bluffgirl67 Yeah I am focusing on water, food and exercise are not a concern right now. I think I am going to remove goals specific to weight loss numbers..... I get frustrated when the scale doesn't move but I'm doing all the things I need to do. I I think I may just adjust my goals to what I CAN control... food, water,…
