Great, now the daughter has started baking Challah again - I'm doomed Actually been a decent week, apart from yesterday when the challah hit and I went over but I'm down that initial 3- 5 lbs (varying daily) from first week trying to get back in control Good things: my steps are heading back up to 10K a day, logging is…

This is my experience too, I maintained for a few years and then lack of weighing and logging slipped in and I’ve put back on half my loss. It’s frustrating to move back from my level of smugness

Great advice. Thank you @sijomial and @rheddmobile Yesterday I had soup for supper while they had sausage, mash and onion gravy, and the house was full of the smell of fresh baked sourdough bread. If my calories had been in control and this was a rare supper I could have joined them but neither was true, So I just started…

Hah, I knew it, just dipping my toe in so am not up to speed Savage, and fair. I like it. Hi I’m surprised you feel like anyone would imagine you’re arguing with my post, rather your post was considered, well structured, interesting and added relevant information to move the discussion on. Thank you Personally I’ve been prone to injury, suffering from ridiculous insomnia (awake at 2.30/3am) and muscular fatigue…

I agree and yet disagree too I completely agree that it’s down to what you eat, but I think menopause brings with it some significant challenges in relation to emotional and stress eating, to hunger drives, to fat storage and quite honestly to “why on Earth am I bothering at my age” Perimemopausal and menopausal symptoms…

Hello, first post I’m 52, managed to gain 20lbs over the last 2-3 years having dropped 60 lbs 5 years before I’m ashamed to be back to this point because I did so well for years, but I got smug, stopped tracking well, lost control and hit menopausal hormonal swings Part of me wonders why bother at my age and the other part…
