Guys don’t give up

You need to know the amount of calories that you should be taking to lose weight and compensate for calories lost during exercise
-
So far it’s going terribly for me but i get that it’s not about how you start it’s about how you finish so still hopeful
-
Been a hard couple of days I didn’t workout because my sleep was so messed up I didn’t sleep at all the other day so i couldn’t workout but nothing major I’ll bounce back
-
Good luck marjo and Karlz

Day 1 didn’t go as a planned so I usually train at 8pm but today I fell asleep at 6:30 and woke up at 12:30am so working out is out the window because if I workout there is no way I sleep again but all I’m thankful for is my class starts at 9:30 tomorrow and not the usual 8:30 🙏

Good luck to everyone and yeah breakups suck but you’ll be fine and everything will work out
-
@jingles0231 a registered dietitian will solve most of your problems

It’s ok one day they will understand that being hunted by us humans is one of the easiest ways to die for some animals

True happiness comes from within and not achieving something, you need to be happy with your current self with all its “flaws” but that doesn’t mean you can’t try to change it but being happy with it will take so much stress off of you and everything else will become easier including losing weight.
-
You’ve done it before so the motivation is not there so look for the “Why” you want to lose weight and make it a routine and not do it when just motivated @JulianGiura
-
Definitely the smart thing to do and your results will be long term. Good luck. @MarissaRiv23
-
Listen to your body if it’s too much then workout 5 times a week but if you feel ok just keep doing it but don’t forget to listen to your body push it but not too much @MarissaRiv23

I’m interested in CrossFit but I’ve injured myself too much while kickboxing and I think I’ll injure myself again so I sometimes do CrossFit style body weight workouts
-
A number on a scale means nothing for example 90 kilos (200lbs) for me is heavy but Brock Lesnar at 200 is going to be tiny so it’s just a number. Rely on the mirror more and rely on performance even more and just try have fun everyday

There is a lot of good advise commented but one thing which I found helpful was doing bench press, i could already do push-ups when I first started doing bench press but they helped out a lot
-
I’d say stay at maintenance and work on something that you don’t know but you want to know so for me I want to lose weight and learn how to handstand and after I learn the handstand i want to learn how to do a cartwheel so just do whatever you want now.

I’m listening don’t worry what I meant by “pure skill and counters” was skill that is high enough to overwhelm someone who hasn’t trained and “street fight mentality” because the guy was saying he could take me out with one punch Those guys both think I’m a walk in the park because I never show off or try to act dominant…
-
But I was so hyped when they called me out I said if you beat me I’m not kickboxing again
-
I’ve sparred before and yes it’s not about winning or losing but this one is so I have to win and I can win too but no one knows what’ll happen
-
One guy has no mma experience and the other has 1 year of boxing. I have six months of training but I haven’t trained at all in 2019 due to a couple of injuries but I do want to start again If i lose I will quit but trust me they are underestimating me and I know for a fact I can easily win even against the boxer they both…

I’d say have 2 cheat meals a week first and try to make that one and stay at one you’ll be ok but stay at 2 cheat meals a week for a couple of weeks
-
Hiking is the best honestly I love hiking but my knee has been bugging me for some time now so I can’t hike but I’m recovering so hopefully I’ll go hiking soon
