  • We started our day off with a wonderful bike ride today! My weight has not fluctuated more than 1/2 a pound since my last weigh in. My waist has gone from 46 inches to 39.1 inches in the last 8 months. I’d gone from a size 22W to a 14W...I tried on the 14W this morning and they are looser than they were when I first got…
  • Food Prep!!! Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries going in the freezer for our smoothies on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday! We add a Chobani Greek Mango yogurt drink and a DanActive Blueberry yogurt drink! Great antioxidant punch in the mornings!! Making it a little easier to stay on track👍🏽💪🏽! Also…
  • @Zoomie402 Thank you so much! We started out with 34 trees like this huge magnolia on our 1/2 acre! A mix of oaks, pines and magnolias! Here’s when they were cutting the big one down. My hubby’s uncle planted it 50 years ago! Now we have 16 including the fruit trees😊. I love burning calories doing the work!

  • @MuttiNM You are an inspiration to me for sure! If my calculations are correct you have lost almost 200 pounds! And you can hike! The reason I go like a mad woman when I bike is because I have osteoarthritis in my right hip and I can’t take long walks anymore. I’m trying to loose as much weight as I can to relieve the pain…

  • @speyerj I’m so so sorry your going through this. One day at a time for sure🙏🏽. When I ran my first half marathon in 2009 I was 265 pounds and had not trained at all. I don’t know what I was thinking. I ran it in 3:49. When my husband and daughter met me at the finish line it was exhilarating! As we walked back to the…

  • @CupcakeCrusoe I have literally gone through everything and Goodwill has received much from our house over the last few weeks. I thought I’d really purged when we retired and moved but this time I got rid of all the clothes I no longer fit because I’ve gone from 22w to 14w! I also really organized my clothes in my…
  • @cesse47 because I’ve lived with high blood pressure most of my life, I constantly monitor my sodium intake and I am very aware of the sodium in garlic salt. Further, the levels of sodium added to restaurant foods is the reason why my husband and I have completely stopped eating out. One of the many reasons I love MFP is…
  • @torihudson6 and @Tarzan37 sodium is so sneaky! We need it because it does help our body but to much of it recks our body. @CupcakeCrusoe Mrs. Dash products are wonderful. I keep my sodium as far under 2300mg as possible but not to low because our bodies still need it. I also you things like garlic salt and lemon to season…

  • @KeriA the partnership between a child and their parents is absolutely critical in helping them navigate the peaks and valleys of life. Putting our kids mental/physical state above all else, in my humble opinion, is the best gift we can give them to show them how to navigate. What a blessing to her you both have been. The…
  • Today is the last day of a month in which I have lost 1.2 pounds. The fact that I didn’t gain is a relief the stress from all that’s going on. When I started this journey I already knew loosing weight, no matter how many calories I burned each day or how I worked to stay within my calorie allowance, would be more difficult…
  • @KeriA I know you are so very proud of her for staying focused and achieving this milestone🎓! Several of the employers are getting creative because they have to. They are initially communicating with candidates via email for applications and resumes. Once the candidate makes it through that stage the employer will…
