NSV: I'm still at it even though it's slow. Things are moving in the right direction, and I am patient. I was able to buy a new dress today, tried it on, and didn't hate how I look in it. Its been a while since I could say that.

Wow, way to go! That is nothing short of amazing.

Yeah, there's no toilet paper anywhere, which is confusing considering it's a respiratory illness and doesn't cause diarrhea... I don't understand the panic-shopping logic. At least the hand sanitizer I can understand...

Hi all, So I for March my basic goal is to continue the strength training I set up in Feb. I'll stick with it until the 5th of April, then I have to swap out plans and ...probably make it harder. But for now, I have a routine that I do 5 days a week. Its short and definitely leaves me feeling it. My goal for last month was…

That's a really sweet story.

@BrownSugar174 That's an interesting question. I think I learned to value myself first through my children. Their father was a horrible person, and the fact that I stayed with him as long as I did said a lot about how I felt about myself. One day when my son was a toddler and my daughter was a newborn he went to hit me…

I started with WW because I actually FOUND an entire Weight Watchers starter kit in a box of free stuff outside a second hand store. I did that for the 4 months that the starter kit covers, filled the food journal, tracked my progress, and did great. I kept on that for probably another two with my own notebook, then when…

@KeriA I'm sorry to hear about your cat. :( The loss of a pet is a lot harder than many people think.

Ok, so now that I have a scale handy... My starting weight - 213.8 Weight as of Jan 26th - 193.8 Weight as of Feb 5th - 195.4 (I'm Pmsing bad but... I'll chart it anyway.) Goal weight for the end of Feb - 190 I probably won't weigh again until the end of the month. Things I want to do this month: Continue to log everything…

@fitchick37 The struggle is real. Babysteps maybe? Cut it down by one can a day, adjust to that then repeat?

I don't own a food scale, and wouldn't use it if I did, I just try to take the inaccuracy into account. I set my calorie goals a bit lower and don't eat my exercise gains to try to compensate for the mistakes I'm bound to make.

You guys are doing awesome. <3 @speyerj - Wow, you're so organized about your goals. I have lots of respect for that, I'm kind of one of those people who just sort of goes with the flow. I should set a goal to set more goals. I have to wait till Wed to weigh in since I use the scale where I work.

So my husband asked me if I was taking diet pills last night. Bless him, he was concerned, and not entirely convinced that I lost those 20 pounds the old fashioned way. I don't think I'll call that an NSV but it made me smile. I have a Non Scale Goal though. I do leather working when I have the time. When I reach my goal…

@snaileatsplants I would try (stationary bike) cycling. Doing it on a regular bike might not be great, as you'd be shocked how much that broken toe will affect your balance! But it's low impact cardio, and you don't have to run on that toe. :)

Ohh Ok, I get it. My NSV: Just yesterday I had to buy a new pair of scrub pants for work because mine were so big that they were literally falling off of me. Add to that, I just feel better. I don't really weigh myself that often, twice a month. I go more by my how my clothes fit and how I feel because even at my skinniest…

What is an NSV??? I'm bad with internet lingo :(

I turned up for this party a little late, but better late than never. Most of the time I just track my calories and activity and keep to myself so I'm new, but not new. --- I'm 5'2, 37 years old. I work nights as a nurse's aid in a care facility, so I keep very weird hours. My Starting weight: 213.8 My current weight:…

I do a full 5 day work week of 10 to 12 hour days, then have a week off basically. I am considerably less active on my week off, though I still do exercise on my days off.
