How is that any different than *every* week?

Today’s steps: 3,680 Lots of amazing music at church today which added to the sitting factor. I’m starting the new job tomorrow - at least the form intake part. My classes start this week, too, so it’s even more critical I get more exercise because my sitting/studying bouts will increase - as long as its not my butt…

5 Random facts about me: 1. The sound of my cats scratching, licking, or otherwise performing their toilette near me on the bed makes me crazy. 2. I like Historical fiction because it brings long forgotten high school history stories alive (unlike Mr LaMoth, who was deadly dull)! 3. I’ve moved 18 times in my adulthood. 4.…

Saturday Steps: 4,900 The weather got cold and snowy in honor of my sister’s birthday. Hope it was great, @jugar! 🥳✨❤️🧁

Wednesday steps: 4,250 Friday steps: 4,300

Steps for today: 2,457 (& 13 floors!) I’m amazed at how fast the floors and steps add up when I’m just doing laundry and putting stuff in the attic. I have a tiny washer & spinner in the upstairs bathroom with a clothes drier in the basement. It gets things moving for sure! I’m so glad my right hip and knee are both…

Thank you! I'm so glad you posted these. They help me a lot and it's great to have the cheat sheet. More later this evening!

Steps for yesterday (1/15) got messed up...if you need a number, use 2,500. It's probably more than that but it turned itself off when the battery got too low. too many things open plus listening to good podcasts!

I’m not surprised your BP was high at the ER! What a concept! Our stepmother (about to turn 70 in April) had some issues last May which her GP thought was cardio related. By August, at a different hospital, they discovered it was her gallbladder. It’s worth a check - lots less scary than heart issues! Good luck with it…

This morning’s weigh in @jugar: 189.6

Steps today (disappointing): 2,600

I was 57 when it finally stopped with all that brouhaha. Mom said, “At least you’re not quite as late as great, great (aunt) so-n-so...she was pregnant with her 13th child when she was 53...” yes, indeed! I count my lucky stars. Can you imagine?? I believe progesterone is synthetically produced vs urine from pregnant…

Oh, I love Zumba. Actually, I love water-zumba! Aching all over, not my fave but the best thing to do is take a bath with 2 cups of Epsom salts. (not salt at all but Magnesium Sulfate) Since the skin is our largest organ, it's able to intake and rebalance our inner needs for magnesium pretty quickly. Your muscles will…

I'm 5'2" and can't wait to get down to the 150s let alone 130s! Wowza! I'm impressed. Good luck with all of those students. I'm sure their learning curves will be a piece of cake for you - well, maybe yogurt and apple? You have characteristics of my Prof (retired) sister @jugar! I have no doubt that you'll be able to keep…

Steps today: 2,890 (I had 9-floors worth!) I'm sure it'll be a little higher by the time the day is really done but I might not remember to enter them later. I'm aiming to get a 2-mile walk in tomorrow as well as pool exercise. The decorations are in the box but that's as far as I got while the laundry was going. My washer…

Happy Sunday, y’all, The weather is so warm here in Vermont it seems perfectly reasonable to use Southern expressions. I’ve lived here long enough to know that winter is *not* ending, yet. It’s part of the regular January thaw. It is really way too warm (up to high 50s today), and it makes me edgy. It didn’t help that I…

Steps: 4,900 I’ll check in more tomorrow. Lights are out and I’m ready to lie down. 😘😴

Steps 1/10/20: 2,826 As predicted, the 5.5 hrs in the car messed up the walking plan today. It was nice spending some of my daughter’s birthday with her. I was able to bake her a creamy cheesecake and I only ate 1 wee slice. :-)

If you want me to send you the exercises, let me know.[/quote] Yes, please! I know we’ve talked about those as well as using hand weights to rest palms on without having palms flat as a nice interim fix. Thanks!
-
Steps: 2,444 If only my successful phone interview for a job a mile away could make up the rest of the missing 3,500 steps, that’d be great! I’ll be filling in for a woman on pregnancy leave, working at the pool I go to in the PT department I hope to work in as a PT Assistant after I’m graduated from the Associates…

Sadly, marshmallows are too stressful on wrist joints! (kidding) I *strongly* recommend using a neutral brace (keeps wrist in neutral) ONLY at night while you sleep. If putting weight on your hand stresses out the joints and makes the nerve pinching worse, use a smaller/narrower mid-arm wrap (often touted as good for…

Thanks! I'll go look for that toggle now.

Steps: 4200 They may have been a little higher but my phone wasn’t doing well from my bag. Tomorrow, a big walk in the morning! Can’t wait. The visit and lunch was all quite nice. Thanks for your support! Xoxo

Weigh in: 190.0 When I first set up my account, I saw a place where the steps and exercise can be discounted from caloric intake. I can't find it now but want to turn it off. Help? I feel good about my weigh in today especially because it was pre-morning ablutions, as it were. I'm sure it'll be lower after that! I'm…

What a treat to read about your varied activities and cooking with your husband. I'm glad to see you here and look forward to reading more about the other teammates, as well. Cheers!

Steps: 4,322 It’s been a little snowy today and I almost took a walk after morning pool exercise but thought I’d wait until my hair was dry after lunch...could explain why the number is lower than my target of 6K! Tomorrow is a new day and I’ll be giving 3 massages in the afternoon so a walk-in the morning will be very…
-
Hi! I'll aim for 6K per day...that'll be a good stretch considering I *used to be* closer to 2K. Thanks for adding me to the pile! I'll put my #s in a bit later tonight. Have a good rest of the evening

Steps today: 3,800 I’m wiped out tonight from a few very challenging massage clients. Whew! Good thing I made my food plan while driving home and talked myself out of stopping at the grocery store. That rotisserie chicken would’ve been way too tempting! The pizza place was too crowded to stop at too, so that was lucky.…
