Week 4 Sunday PW: 148.8 lb CW: 147.3 lb Had a few slip ups this week, on the food and drink front, but I've also had a couple of exercise victories (fastest 10k and longest run of recent years) so on balance I'd say it was a good week.

@Jax_Grim good stepping and great attitude too. A good reminder to us all that it's often difficult keeping to meal planning when you're away from home, sometimes impossible, so don't sweat it, ride it out and get back on that wagon at the next opportunity. π

Just a thought, but if you're struggling to meet your step count maybe it's worth reducing the number to something manageable (but a little stretching) and then slowly upping the target over a few weeks?

We're going go to be six months into the year on 1st July, so I wanted to post a picture of me in my (now massive) January trousers, hopefully to inspire the new folk joining us. Unfortunately I can't work out how to post a photo because it just says 'file upload failed' every time I try. Can someone point me in the rightβ¦

I can totally sympathise @simbersea. I've done the crawling out of bed more than once after a weights session. Once I pulled my stomach muscles so bad I had to stand up in stages. It was like i was reenacting the evolution of man! π€£

Hope everyone is having a good week. I have a confession to make...after my snack fest on Monday I did not get back on the wagon and ended up eating all sorts yesterday, including more millionaire's shortbread AND I got wine out π· on a Tuesday! π± I'd had very stressful day at work and was slipping into stress eating.β¦

Great losses @mynacha73 and @mulecanter I've had serious hunger pangs today. I tried munching on vegetable crudites, then fruit, nothing was satisfying me. Eventually I ended up eating two portions of millionaire's shortbread (basically a giant lump of butter and sugar) because sometimes healthy snacks just won't do! Goneβ¦

If I have any online meetings where it's not necessary to be on screen the whole time I turn my video and mic off and get steps in by marching on the spot. Or I might also pick a short tv show to watch in the evening where I march on the spot.

Week 3 Sunday PW: 151.7 lb CW: 148.8 lb A good week for me π€ΈββοΈ My conclusion after two weigh-ins is there is definitely a bit of a calibration difference with our new scales, but I was probably also carrying a bit of salty margarita-related water weight last week πΈ Perils of a Sunday weigh-in!

Week 2 Sunday PW: 152.1 CW: 151.7 Happy enough with this because I think I've actually lost about 2 lb since last week. My scales died β and I think there is a calibration difference with the new ones (husband is 1.5 lbs heavier on these too). Could also be water retention from the salt-rimmed margaritas last night πΈ - weβ¦

I have done so much exercise today. A 20 mile cycle and 5 mile run (with hill reps). Now gleefully enjoying some well-earned vices (margaritas πΈ and ice cream π¨). YUM! π
