I gained 10 pounds after my gallbladder surgery 3 weeks ago. I was told it was due to the IV fluid they pumped into me, and also to swelling. It only took a week for the weight to go away. I wasn't worried, since I was barely eating and was drinking a lot of water, so I knew it was just water weight. Don't worry!
