No looking at the sugar is not a good approach. It is the total carbohydrate you need to look at as all carbs increase blood sugar not just sugar.

I’m new and would like some friends. I am mid 30s, UK, a lot to lose, have ME so my exercise is limited, and my cooking abilities vary depending on my energy too. I’m focusing on getting more protein and veg in my diet, and I also have type 1 diabetes.

Feel free to add me particularly if you have a lot to lose. I’ve previously lost and regained 50lbs and need to do it again, have at least 100lb to lose.

I have at least 100lb to lose, not sure how much exactly as I’ve never been a healthy weight. I don’t have any friends on here yet so feel free to add me. I have lost 50lbs in the past but regained it and haven’t lost anything for a few years now. Feel ready to start again and do it properly this time.
