Just tried Brooklyn Brewery AF beer , Special Effects. I haven’t had AF beer before and it was pretty decent. I also have stocked up on sparkling waters and ginger beer. Looking forward to trying these to enjoy my evening patio time without all the snacking and issues from drinking.

We have a key lime that we’ve grown from just a wee twig. It’s so big we had to give it a trim to move it outside today for the summer. Lots of blossoms, so hoping for a good batch again this year.

Hot, working in the yard kind of day that calls for a beer. Couple hosting an outdoor concert this afternoon and all the neighbors will arrive soon and social distance and drink. I’m trying not to get sucked into it. Just trying to continue yard work and lemonade/iced tea. Wish me luck!

pZilly I’m trying some new advice this week and maybe it will help you too. The idea is that our cravings and urge to snack will pass in 10-15 minutes, so if I can find a distraction, I can avoid the snack. Sometimes it works, like I’ll walk out to the mailbox or empty the dishwasher. Other times, I’m not so successful.…

Today is my weigh in ... and I gained a pound since last week. I shouldn’t be surprised, as I made homemade yeast cinnamon buns, had jelly beans, and some chocolate.
