You can have whatever you like as long as it fits into your daily calories. I prefer something like a hard boiled egg, deli ham or cheese and crackers before bed. Popcorn is also great.

I could have written that post! Especially the control part. I finally decided that although I cant control what goes on around me, I CAN control what i eat. And that gives me a bit of sanity. Welcome to MFP! You CAN do this!

Consider starting at the 2 pounds a week, then lower that once you get like 20 pounds or so down. Your TDEE will begin to drop as you lose. As for activity, I keep mine to sedentary as I'm a stay home mom and get low exercise, under 5k steps with cycling at home 3x a week. That's kinda up to you to see what works for you.

Have the burger and fries, but make them at home. Weigh your foods and pay attention to portion size, bake those fries instead of deep frying them. Baby steps.
