Sorry for the off topic question but, do you think this is the same movement pattern as your rowing activity? In other words, if someone is good at cable rows does it translate well to rowing in general?
-
Yes that's because I don't eat lean meats or low fat dairy. As far as animal protein I drink whole organic milk, I eat medium ground beef, whole eggs, processed red meat and chicken on occasion. I was never a big meat eater, but I started weight training again and I eat more protein to increase my performance mostly. If I…

So almost 1g per lbs of body weight. I find that it's hard to achieve on most days, even as an individual who eats a lot of meat. And from what i've gathered from most people around me, eating that much protein is really a pain in the butt :D . I would much prefer to eat mostly carbs and fat.
-
I also take protein prowder and I eat meat. Hitting 1g per lbs of body weight is not that easy.

Yes I concur, one time I asked to be tested for vitamin D levels. My doctor asked me if I drink milk on a regular basis, I said yes, she then said there's no need to be tested for vitamin D because I drink milk. But then you do some research and you realize there's only 100 IU in 250ml of milk, you would need to drink 10…

Hard to tell, I don't think any of us are "experts". But this is a reliable way to guess your BF% in my opinion, for me it's right on : https://www.calculator.net/body-fat-calculator.html And yes I think should clean bulk, you can put more muscle mass in the arms, shoulders and chest.
-
It's funny, only one time a doctor ever commented on my weight and it's because she was worrying about my low body weight, she said 145lbs at 5'9 is "way too skinny", that's how she said it. I've been 20-30lbs overweight and not one word from any doctor.

What about locking your elbows for upper body lifts like the bench press, skull crushers etc..? Is it beneficial for extra strength and muscle gains? I heard locking your elbows is specially beneficial for gaining mass in your triceps.
-
They already do in France, my half sister is morbidly obese and she has to pay a premium for health care. But in France it's a whole different culture, they don't care about offending overweight people.

It's good to know, we often hear conflincting informations in exercise science. But if it's not necessary to train to failure then that's great.

Just as I predicted, Quebec moves towards vaccine passport : https://globalnews.ca/news/8088461/quebec-covid-vaccine-passport/

Yeah it's due to me recovering from a shoulder injury, I did pretty much nothing but pulling movements for a couple of months because pressing movements caused a lot of discomfort and pain in my shoulders. During that time I did close grip chin ups and inverted rows + curls. I don't think the chest is very much worked in…

Yes I did my last to failure, I thought training to failure was better for hypertrophy purposes but at the time I hear it is not optimal for strength gains, I thought the two were related?

I'm wondering if you could critique my form on the neutral grip dumbbell bench press. This is my last set I did 70lbsx10, 70lbsx9, 75lbsx8. Here i'm doing 75lbsx8, i'm wondering : 1) Am I going down low enough for hypertrophy purposes? 2) Is there any benefits of switching to a barbell neutral grip bench press with the…

Same thing is going to happen in the province of Quebec in Canada. Not a big deal in my opinion. One can train at home and order delivery. If it's just that but you can still go to the grocery store, receive public services etc... then it's the least of my concern.

Long hair, brown or light brown.

Both, I love eating but I also need a minimum of 3200 calories to maintain my bodyweight. A combination of physical job + 5 days a week of weight training.

I went to bed with a slight headache last night and woke up with the same pain, it eventually went away as I resisted the temptation of taking an ibuprofen. From now on unless I have a migraine i'm not taking any medication.
-
Yes my aunt is a retired nurse, she's one of the very few people I know who take medication for headaches, or pretty much anything :D .
-
I had a headache last night, and for absolutely no reason. It was sunday, the least stressful day of the week. I had a slight headache and the thought of having a headache made it a lot worse :D . I did hear about advils causing chronic headaches, I will try that. I did it at one time and it worked. I think next time I…

I've also had chronic headaches since childhood, it may be hereditary or something. For some reasons Ibuprofen works very well for me but not Tylenol, I notice Tylenol doesn't do anything for me. Why I don't wait until it goes away is because often times it gets worse, i'd say most of the time. So as soon as I feel like a…

I think my mental health would get worse if I were to not eat carbs. It rarely happens, but I notice that when i'm low on carbs my mood changes.

I ate the whole thing, only 400 calories :

Evolution and biology, it's pretty much written in our DNA, a man wants to be the provider. But you will find guys who don't care, about 15-20% of dudes who are older.
