I have not been great this week. Next week I have a meal plan developed that incorporates many more veggies into the main part of my meal as opposed to a side and I think that will help. Fruit is easier for me.

great first week!

I love decluttering! If you have a facebook, look into your community's Buy Nothing groups. It's a great way to get rid of things taking up space in your house but still have too much life left for the garbage.

It's been hot as hell all week (Southern CA) and finally started cooling off today. I'm actually really looking forward to some evening walks next week.

@Dianedoessmiles1I live in Joshua Tree CA. While we do get snow in the desert in the winter, it usually shifts drastically from hot hot hot to snow. It's 77 right now at 9:30 at night. The high today was 89, which is pretty cool actually. This past Saturday it was 104. I could use some 54 degrees!

@Dianedoessmiles1 I'm with the Rain Dancers! And the name couldn't be more perfect because I am hoping for some rain in this hot-*kitten* desert I live in.

Good morning from California! I am very excited to officially start this next week. I need a kick in the butt.

I will weigh once a week and measure again at the end of the challenge. All my stats are updated!

I eat when I'm stressed. I don't really snack, but I will binge eat when I'm stressed or when I'm tired. I need to find another outlet to those feelings - yoga, meditation?

1. I will walk with my toddler and dog 3-4 days a week. The temperature is finally coming down so we can appreciate the outdoors a bit more. 2. Go the gym at least twice a week (Saturday and Sunday mornings.) 3. Plant many flowers walking with Pikmin Bloom.

I've done keto, I've done vegetarian. They work and then they don't because I really don't want to eat like that forever. The nutritional plan for this challenge will be CICO. Calories in calories out. I will make sure at least one meal a week is a salad of some sort.

Can I join the rain dancers for this challenge?

Specific: Lose a pound a week for a total of 8 pounds. Why: To break the plateau. Exercise: at least 3 nights a week, a nightly walk with my son and our dog. Nutrition: Be more consistent about accurate logs, weigh food, count all spices (even though usually negligible) to be more consistent about accuracy.

ACTVITY #1 Information and your input. I'm Elizabeth. I have a 3 year old and ever since I got pregnant I am struggling with my weight. About 14 years ago now I lost a significant amount of weight. In the last 5 years it is back with a vengeance and I cannot kick it. I don't know if it's a lack of dedication to weight loss…

Losing the first pound. That's the minniest of mini goals, but I'm starting again and that seems to be the first thing I need to see.

I could use this to get me started and kickstarted!

This week for breakfast I had pre-baked slices of sweet potato and then heated them up each morning and used them like toast. I put things like peanut and berries, goat cheese and walnuts, and yogurt and berries on them.

I'm loving all the things you all eat for breakfast and am using some of them! This week is overnight oats. This morning's batch has peanut butter mixed in, with almond milk, oatmeal, maple syrup, and chia seeds.
