Can anyone tell me whether or not you are supposed to eat the extra calories earned through exercise? If you don't, will this speed up weight loss?

I am 5ft 7 and currently weigh 170lbs. At this point I would be happy to get to 154lbs and take it from there. At the minute I find it hard to visualise myself at something like 140lbs but I know I have been that before, albeit a long time ago. Good luck with all your goals x
