Thank you for your insight, I appreciate it!! I admit that I just eyeballed the salad and didn’t exactly measure it out, but I did eat some of the kale pieces out of the box so I tried to estimate how much that would be. I’ll definitely try to work in more protein- thanks so much!

Should I in the future make a small salmon fillet to go with it? I mainly eat fish and very rarely eat chicken. Other than that I don’t eat much meat. Sweet potato tends to fill me well.

I’m going to start doing better with my eating and logging, I feel inspired! In that case, does anyone know an easy way to make curried cauliflower? It’s one of my favorite veggie dishes but admittedly I am not too good a cook so a lot of these involved healthy recipes I’m too scared to try. >.>

Hi all- thank you for your input!! I am a medical student and I walk around a lot in the hospital for work, but as for exercise I do martial arts or cross train 3-4x/week! I think maybe I’ll try taking your advice and cutting the calories to a little less to see if that works!! Thank you, everyone!

Thank you both! In hindsight, I wish we had much more nutrition lectures in med school- in my first few years, we only had two! Two! It makes it really difficult to counsel patients so I am trying to learn all I can haha.
