  • I'm not stressing, far from it, I didn't even plan on doing the C25K but was walking in the park and thought sod it lets give it a go. Have read the article and it's great, a couple of things there that could be my reason, but my brain unfortunately has to compute as to what does and doesn't work. Weighing this morning was…
  • Ok thank you, again I wasn't aware of that. It wasn't a massive run, just run 2 of the couch to 5k, but I'll bin it and ignore and wait for my normal check of even wait a week
  • I've removed Google Fit as I didn't trust it and did have Pacer connected all day. The 7200 steps I did with that included my first C25K run but I guess because of the slow pace it didn't recognise as I run and therefore add anything in because I was still under a limit. Pacer has been connected since and yesterday stayed…
  • Well after 2nd run today I thought I'd check again before hitting the shower, finally lost the 2lbs again so will take that as a win :)
  • Ok this morning I hooked up Strava for my 2nd C25K run. Recorded 1.55m at 12:11 /mi and it's pulled in 172 calories if that sounds correct
  • Ok so I just went out for a walk having only done 2500 steps but when I got to the park I decided to start the couch to 5k thingy. Somehow I completed it which I'm massively pleased with and Pacer showing 7303 steps and a level of 'Active' instead of 'Sendentary'. However nothing has come across to MFP apart from Google…
  • Ok ta, just checking that I'm doing the right things and conscious I'm not drinking enough which I'll sort
  • Just a thought, does drinking less water effect water weight? I know I'm not drinking as much as I used to while at home and feel hungrier than what I used to when I started this so need to get back on track
  • No that's ok I do, just commenting it's still the same, will wait now until the weekend and weigh as normal
  • Same weight again this morning pre shower so must be right. Gotta get *kitten* in gear to shift the 2lb
  • Well swapped to pacer, done a massive 423 steps today. Pacer shows 16 calories and nothing added to MFP. Will be doing bit of work outside tomorrow and will try and force some more steps to see what happens
  • We'll just weighed again and now reading an increase from 10st 7.6 to 10st 9.4 in a week albeit I weighed after eating tonight whereas I normally weigh before
  • Hmmm something wrong in the calculations here. MFP and Fit recording 2 different levels. Having a quick search online it does seems this is a common issue with Google over exaggerating but would be good to find some way so that if I do walk 20000 steps one day, I can record this easy. Either that I turn it off and just…
  • I'm now at 246 for 3216 steps. My profile is set to 'Not very active' and the step adjustment is showing 'negative adjustments'
  • Ok so today Google Fit is recording 3002 steps and added an extra 191 calories
  • I've enabled it back in and will monitor it to see what it adds over the next few days
  • ok that was something like I thought. So what I have done by syncing it now is correct? I've done 6752 which is over the assumed amount so its correctly added 302 calories?
  • Not been told it specifically, just remember seeing something on here. I've just synced with Fit and it's reporting 6752 steps and 326 extra calories if we think that's about right?
  • I thought that on the lower activity levels syncing Google Fit in was incorrect because the sedentary level already assumes that you have done 3500 steps? I think I recorded about 6500 steps during the walk
  • Wow thank you for the comprehensive reply. I'm obviously doing something right in that I've dropped from 11st 2 to 10st 7 in about 2 months. I've not really made any changes so it's been almost natural, just a case of watching what I eat in order to get the process right. No dramatic and sudden loss but then I guess that's…
  • Yep that's true, just good to get an idea of what might be causing it and all a learning game. Accept that it will go up some weeks and won't always have a loss. I know I need to get out and get the steps that I'm not doing since being furloughed and wasn't sure if that was the case mainly.
  • ok thanks, so basically too much carb like that and I'll put on water weight but then it will go on it's own and I'll get back down to where I was........hopefully. I'm back on it and measuring today, I guess I need to start looking at the individual levels rather than just overall cal intake. I obviously incorrectly…
  • ok thanks, so effectively then it's water weight that I've gained and I somehow need to lose that
  • That's just it, I don't think it was that bad, definitely not enough to hit my hold weight figure let alone put on weight. Only days I've missed was Saturday when we had Dominoes, then Sunday I was 123 under, Monday 199 under, Tuesday 312 under but had toad in the hole and I measured the sausages but couldn't measure the…
  • Back mainly from bending. The idiot owner before us decided to lay black plastic bags 8 inches underground then covered with pebbles and we've been wondering why we've had drainage issues. So reckon the 820 calories for 180mins is about right?
  • Something is working, lost another 2lb this week
  • Not yet but was down there recently for something and was told all the basics, bloody pressure and so on is correct
  • Installed the Pacer Pedometer app yesterday and interestingly yesterday Fit said I had done 2807 steps and burned 1624 calories, Pacer reported 2908 steps and 109 calories. I'm guessing Fit is taking into account my standard calories as well whereas Pacer is just those from steps. I've linked Pacer to MFP but it doesn't…
  • Was working for me, but looking at stopping because it seems it's giving me too many calories on top of my activity level
  • Ok thanks. Pretty sure I am weighing everything correctly as packets states. It is says so many calories for so much weight I weigh that amount. I have got the Fitbit app and did start with that so I'll go back with that I think rather than Google fit and if not I'll just put up with how I am. Thanks for all the help guys
