Well back losing again this week with another 1lb gone
-
Great thanks and that's what I was thinking with ups and downs which as you say is to be expected. I was surprised to see so much under but have to be honest been struggling to eat all my calories so need to get that balanced out. Plan is eat all my net calories or as close to it as I can without the app shouting at me and…

ok thanks, my BMR is 1505 according to MFP. If I put my goals at maintain it reports 1890 cal so can I assume that's effectively my RMR and 1882 is coming from the 1505 X a figure related to sedentary. So with a quick back to basics and without going out on a tangent, I need to be below the 1890 to lose. I've also accepted…

ok thanks, I'll keep it as is for a couple of days and see what happens especially on a day when I don't go for a run although sounds like I would still have what's now -156 whether Strava was connected or not. I can see that the 1988 from Fitbit is obviously a projected based on what I've done today and is now at 2019 but…
-
ok completely confused now, steps gone up to 4639 but adjustment gone down to -146
-
I see the number has dropped to -124 but then the steps have also increased to 4501, so not sure if it's a time thing or just that my steps have gone up
-
ok call me stupid but I find the adjustment bit confusing. It's showing Fitbit calories burned = 1988 Full day projection based on 712 calories burned as of 7.43am MyFitnessPal Calories Burned = 2175 Includes 293 calories from exercise Adjustment -187 My activity level is set to 'Not very active'. So are we saying that…

Ok run done with Strava syncing Is Fitbit still showing a negative because Strava has come across?
-
Ok negative on. So far after waking it's showing 37 steps at -100. Just off out for a run so will see what it says when back home
-
Well in fairness I have been glued to my laptop working so did feel like it. So negative on or off?
-
Ok @heybales from that post I've connected it correctly my linking MFP to Fitbit tracker and also sounds like I should enable negative adjustments
-
Wow ok quick replies thank you. I just panicked because Fitbit app synced with MFP and I had like -253 calories as I had negative adjustments on so turned that back off and it shows 0. So should I keep Strava syncing along with Fitbit?
-
Yeah I will do tomorrow and see what happens
-
I didn't notice afraid, will try again tomorrow. I wasn't holding the grips much so it wasn't reading all the time. I did see it climb from 74-91
-
Unfortunately it doesn't show wattage, just time, speed, distance, calories, pulse. I just recorded it as 24mins and 10 miles, it them worked out the speed itself although speed was showing around 20mph figure. I was using a resistance of 5 I think out of 1-9
-
Sorry it's just updated again now and taken the negative points away. Can't believe I've earned 428 Cal's from the bike especially when the bike says 61 and then 35 for just 700 steps
-
Ok amended as I realised I entered 1hr 24
-
Well I've just done 10miles over 24mins and bike is showing 61.2 cals. I entered this manually into Strava and that's pushed 375 calories into mfp but oddly it's also removed 341 from pacer
-
It's a very basic bike so I think it just reports calories from the heart rate pressure monitors on the handles
-
I'm not too concerned about cost, just curious really but had a rough look on runnersneed and about the gait so will try and get out there when they reopen. Pace wise I am taking it easy and today my breathing was better after focusing on it and not gasping. I did find in the 1st run I had to take extra an breather but by…
-
Ok great thanks. Enjoying the running just think I must have done something to my foot but was ok while running, just lower legs as I hit the ground which then goes upto knees. We have a runnersneed so will try to pop there when they are open properly. What's a ball park figure I should be looking at to spend? Just…

Well thankfully after all of this, I'm back to my normal weekly weighs and I'm still the same as I was post run in the week so have something consistent now to use
-
Ok thank you for the reply. So my goal is set to 1lb loss at 1500 although it's still the same at 2lb and rises to 1650 if I change to 0.5lb, while my maintenance is 1900. I've just installed Libra so will try that as well, guessing I just add my weight in there as I weigh alongside MFP. Still confused unfortunately as to…
-
Ok so lessons learned from my testing. 1 - Keep to once a week (which I've been doing for weeks until lockdown when I noticed the original increase). 2 - If it goes up one week, as long as I'm below my maintenance figure, it won't be traditional weight gain as such and therefore nothing to worry about. 3 - Don't weigh too…

Doh facepalm moment. So although it was connected in MFP, it might help if I go into 'steps' and pick pacer as the source for steps. It's amazing how once you do that and sync I then get 7118 steps and 267 calories come across lol. Now the question is for something like C25K, should I just leave it with Pacer and allow it…
-
Ok so I've double checked MFP and I'm set to 'not very active'. Pacer is now showing 7118 steps/266 calories and 'active' but nothing has synced, to be honest had forgot about it. The only thing that has synced is from Strava this morning at 172 for my light jog. So sounds like Pacer isn't doing its job correctly. It does…
-
Yeah I'm not doing every morning, normally once a week, just thought I'd try this morning midweek to check but obviously wrong time and then learning what I might be doing wrong if it goes up over time
-
I'm not stressing, far from it, I didn't even plan on doing the C25K but was walking in the park and thought sod it lets give it a go. Have read the article and it's great, a couple of things there that could be my reason, but my brain unfortunately has to compute as to what does and doesn't work. Weighing this morning was…
