  • Getting married on Friday 🙂👰🍾
  • Congratulations! I love that you still have the shirt too
  • I returned to IF 16:8 a few weeks ago. After months of no progress in my weight loss/fitness and lots of frustration, I have lost 3.2lbs in less than 3 weeks. This is not a huge number on it's own, but it is huge for me!
  • I always do cardio on empty for the same reason, I feel nauseous if eat beforehand. It's only certain workouts that I was light-headed, which happened when I first started working with a personal trainer even if I had eaten. Just trying to fine-tune my schedule to hit these final goals.
  • I went shopping for a bridesmaid dress last week and the dress I bought was a size 4! I was a bridesmaid for my brother's wedding years ago and shopping for dresses was horrible and the dress was a size 12. That wedding was where I introduced my family to my now-fiancé and the pictures made me realize how out of shape I…
  • I work evenings and my partner works nights, so this is something that we both struggle with a lot. I work in a hospital facility, so I have a fridge and can bring food and keep snacks on hand. He works in the community and doesn't really have access to that. What works for me: SNACKS. I keep a large tupperware in my…
  • Happy to have new friends, especially anyone getting in shape for an upcoming wedding (brides, grooms, bridesmaids, etc...) 💍
  • Thank you so much for this. It's often a taboo topic because some people still associate binging completely with purging or other compensatory behaviors, which is not the case for a lot of us. For me it's sugar binges. I've eaten thousands of calories of sugary candy, to the point where I felt sick and my teeth hurt. These…
  • Recently engaged and started working with a personal trainer for the first time. Looking for active friends who won't judge me for my horrible eating habits
  • Not a morning person but I'm awake and at work (with a giant cup of coffee, but that's besides the point). Overall I've felt pretty good lately, progress has been slow but I keep reminding myself that losing weight fast in the past didn't mean I kept it off. I'm 2lbs away from where I was before my last "relapse" this…
  • Always happy to have more friends, especially if you are active here and not going to show me your lady bits...or man bits for that matter lol these porno accounts have gotten me too many times!
  • Hello again everyone and welcome to anyone new! I'm just getting back into my routine after being sick for a couple of weeks (I dont care what that test said, it was covid). Having relapsed hard in the past during similar times when my routine was disrupted, I'm proud of myself for getting back to it relatively quickly.…
  • oye hello again ladies, it has been a rough couple of weeks. I was pretty sick and although I tested negative, I'm pretty sure it was covid at some point. I've been home from work for two weeks and tomorrow will be my first day back in the building. I've been gradually reintroducing exercise, but I'm still not up for a lot…
  • 🤣🤣🤣 I would hardly consider myself wise enough to be anyone's sage but I do my best! The MFP community has been so inspirational and helpful to me I'm happy if I can be that for others on even a tiny scale
  • @pamperedlinny that's great for motivation enjoy your class! @debq3 two minutes is big progress in a short amount of time good for you! @tatsarabi2021 I'm sorry to hear you had such a difficult relationship they can take quite the toll, but now on to much bigger and better things! Hope everyone has a great week
  • @wanda_idelia click on a person's name, you'll see their "badges" click on their name again and you'll see two green options for send message or add as friend, click add as friend and they will get a request
  • Happy Monday ladies! Always happy to have new friends. This go around I decided to open my diary to friends and be more active in the community and I think it makes a difference. Seeing the successes of others is very motivating for me. I especially love when people share recipes and food that they like, cuz lez be honest…
  • I have some friends on here who are men and also trying to get fit and have been good friends and very supportive. I think you can tell pretty quickly who is here for the right reasons. For a while I actually got a bunch of...how shall I put this... pornographic female accounts lol not sure what list I ended up on but it's…
  • Phew. Had a great week in terms of fun, but certainly not so great in terms of calories/workouts. With family in town with their kids we were on a very different schedule, so I ate at weird times (like the morning, which is weird for me) and had a lot of coffee to keep up. I expect a little gain (who can turn down…
  • Blargh. Things are crazy lately, but not necessarily in a bad way. Back to back we have a trip to the lake with friends, our official 7yr Anniversary, and then family visiting with their 2yo (freaking adorable yes, but also exhausting for those of us without toddler energy). In the midst of all this we are working our…
  • Click on a members' name, it takes you to their profile and there's a green button to Add Friend
  • I feel your pain on the migraine train, it sucks. Everyone is different but I really do notice when I'm healthier overall I have less frequent migraines with less severe symptoms. Don't be too hard on yourself you are doing great!
  • My app has been having a hissy fit (I get alerts but when I click on them it just takes me to my diary) so if I don't respond I'm not trying to ignore anyone just technologically inept lol. Work has been extremely busy lately and I have a long weekend coming up so I'm trying to get a lot done in advanced. Workouts have…
  • When I first joined MFP I joined the Biggest Loser challenge. You're added to a team and each team has a chat, I found it motivated me and added some accountability with weekly weigh ins and I got to meet a few people. I also looked for people who were already what I consider to be "in the shape I want to be in" because it…
  • In a similar boat, try not to be too hard on yourself we all stumble a bit. Keep working you can do this!
  • I never used SparkPeople so I cannot make a comparison, but I've found the more open I am the more I've been able to find supportive, like-minded people. It doesn't happen over night and you have to do some digging but its here. Check out groups and the chats and don't be scared to comment and talk to people. We all need…
  • Recently had a 12lb relapse, which was about half of what I lost so far. Getting back on track is rough but I'm doing Jillian Michaels' Body Revolution if you're a believer in her workout plans it's a good one and you only need a set of dumbbells and resistance bands. Feel free to add me, I really appreciate…
  • Trying to get back on track after a 12lb "relapse" in just a few months always looking for more friends and support!
  • Looking for friends and motivation after a 12lb relapse
  • Thank you @SwtHedgehog I am weighing in "officially" tomorrow since Fridays were/are my regular weigh in day. I'm anxious about it and honestly embarrassed to really see how much I messed up my previous progress...again, but hopefully you are right and I'll use it as motivation to stop this cycle I have created for myself.…
