I saw this recipe today in a monthly magazine we get from our electric coop. I'm always looking for recipes to help with my sweet tooth😁. I put all the ingredients into the MFP recipe builder and this is the nutritional info it gave me per serving: Calories: 68, Total Fat: 0.1g, Total Carbs: 12.1g, Protein: 5.7g

I went outside and watered all my flower beds today. It sure felt good to be able to do something! Hubby pulled the hose out for me so all I had to do was water. I had to really fight the urge to want to pull more weeds but I didn't.

Since hubby and I are both retired all days are the same for us.

Good morning everyone. I woke up pain free this morning yay! It's still really tender, if I step wrong or on my feet too long it lets me know. But it sure felt good to wake up and not be hurting right off the bat! I'm nervous about weigh-in Sunday. I haven't been sticking to my eating plan plus not being able to move =…

Hi there. Wow that's quiet a workout! I lived in Houston, Texas for 6 years so I know exactly what you're talking about with the humidity, it's miserable! Sounds like you have a fantastic plan in place.

Yes!! There were several tornados that touched down here in Delaware. They uprooted trees, tore off roofs, power lines down all over. It was a mess. I posted a photo Tuesday of the power lines down. This is one from my daughters neighborhood [/quote] Oh my, I hope no one was hurt! Tornados are scary storms, you never know…

I'm really getting tired of this stupid back pain! I go to bed in pain, wake up in pain. I haven't had a good nights sleep in several days. Seems like the only thing that helps is to lay still with a heat pad on my back. I'm starting to feel trapped in my own body. I hate this!!

I was able to move around a little more today. As long as I used furniture or even the wall to lean on it wasn't as painful. I managed to get some dinner cooked tonight so at least I ate a little healthier than yesterday. I threw some rice and chicken in a baking pan (along with some soup and spices), covered it with foil,…

@cpnknight im impressed with your workout! Wow, 2 miles on the elliptical. I was lucky to do 5 min when I first started lol. Yes you are right, we have to start somewhere. Have you thought about relaxing in a tub of hot water with a cup or 2 of Epsom salts mixed in? That works wonders for sore, stiff muscles.

@eapar507 thank you for the prayers.

Thank you. Don't have much choice at the moment. I'm hoping after a couple days of not moving it'll be better tomorrow 🤞🏼. I did cook dinner tonight so I moved around a little more today but paying for it at the moment.

Awww Lily is so pretty. I love her green eyes. We've got 2 cats, Oreo and Rambo plus a very energetic puppy name Molly. She gives the cats a run lol. They sleep in the bed with me because Molly is to little to jump up on the bed so that's their safe place 😉.

I need to get some chickens. They look like they do a good job helping

Sounds like we have a lot in common. I've been on MFP a while also. I do good for a while then life happens and sets me back. I started out at my heaviest around 230 pounds. Got down to 180 then gained back up to 205. I'm determined to stick with it this time and get down to my goal of 135. My Dr wants me around 140-145…

I do the same thing, I log everything I eat...good or bad. We have to be honest with ourself if we're going to be successful.

That's the way I did when I went to Zumba, walked in place if I couldn't do a move. As long as we keep moving we're doing good and burning calories.

Hi Tracey, welcome. I know exactly what you mean about C19 and obesity, that concerns me as well. I've known people that have had great success with intermittent fasting.
-
Oh my! Glad you're ok. Stay safe!

Sorry I haven't been here much. I've got a couple bulging disks in my low back that have flared up which causes extreme pain in my low back and numbness in my thighs. Yesterday I spent the day lying on the couch with a heat pad. Today seems to be a repeat of yesterday. I was so bummed out yesterday I turned to food for…

Good job on your losses! I like to keep daily goals cause it helps me stay accountable. I don't always meet them all everyday but it helps me see what I need to work on 😉. Last week I took "before pictures" of myself and thinking of taking pictures every month or so to compare. Hoping by seeing a difference in the way I…

Decided to take pictures of myself at the beginning of this journey, also took my measurements when weighing in this morning. Neck 16" Chest 48" Waist 43.5" Hips 47.2" I wanted to take upper arm and thigh measurements but that's hard to do by myself. Next time my daughter comes out I'll get her to measure for me.

The pictures above are pictures of my work getting a garden prepared for next year. The bottom picture is how it looked when I started, top picture is the finished project. That's only about 1/4 of the size I need to do. It's going to be a busy summer for me lol.

Happy August 1st everyone. It's been a busy one for me. I'm working on clearing out a place for a garden next year. We live out in the country and of course the area we've chosen for the garden is at the side of the yard where the woods take over. So while hubby mowed the yard today I pulled weeds (lots of weeds) then…

I didn't have the best of July's either. I was hoping to lose 5 or 6 pounds instead I only lost 0.4. But I'm just going to pull myself up, brush it off and start a brand new month tomorrow. We got this!!
-
Hi and welcome. You can do this! April is 8 months away and sounds like you're doing great with already losing over 18 pounds! You've got this! I guess you could say I'm intermitten fasting but not intentionally lol. I'm not a breakfast person so usually I'll eat dinner then nothing till the next afternoon. I'm just not…

Happy Friday everyone! We had another big rain last night, I was hoping for things to start drying out but on the bright side this rain has brought in much cooler weather! We were having temps in the mid-upper 90's and today only suppose to be 82. I'll take that for end of July! I'm going to re-color my hair today, going…

Good for you with getting an elliptical. I know you've been wanting one. Hope it helps with your workouts!

Congratulations on your weight loss! I lost 0.4 this week. I need to re-figure my eating habits. Wow, such dedication with the workouts, way to go👍🏼. I've put in 1 hour 45 min on the treadmill this week. This is my first week with working out. I'm hoping to increase that time next week. Keep up the good work! Have a great…
