  • Hi! Im Grace. 2 months post partum and have 43lb to go to get back to my pre baby weight from my first child. I've had back-to-back pregnancies so I'm looking forward to giving myself some time to get back in shape
  • I can totally relate! I'm also 5ft8 and I gained a bit more than than you did with my first 2 pregnancies...it takes some dedication but it will come off. Way to go hitting the halfway mark! I still have about 16 lbs to loose from my 3rd pregnancy but would love to get another 5 or 10 pounds after that....
  • Found this article to be quite helpful, the calorie calculator adjusts for pregnancy, breastfeeding or no breastfeeding at all, height, weight, age etc. I found on average I was eating significantly below my calorie intake but not losing any weight. Perhaps finding the right balance is key, so my body will drop its stores…
  • I totally get the at home workouts with kiddos, they are just fine up till the second you pop the DVD in😄 Speaking of face stuffing, I have the hardest time not letting go about 4am and 4pm. Tomorrow being Easter Sunday, I fully intend to keep my calories off the books. Hey holidays only come once a year right?😊
  • That's awesome! Keep up the good work!
  • Be patient with yourself, I feel like that can even be harder than actually working out or sticking to a good diet, I'm my worst critic! Your hard work will pay off, you got this!
  • That's awesome you kept running till 6 months! I was so determined to work out through most of my pregnancy but that only lasted till nausea hit me at about 8 weeks hahaha in my defense I did go on walks here in there though😊
  • Realized it's been a while since I've been on here. We're prepping our house for sale so its been pretty crazy. Trying to paint with 3 kiddos and an infant is not for the faint of heart!😊 So to update I've been counting calories and exercising for about 1.5 months and I've lost 2 pounds...Hooray? I must admit was surprised…
  • Anyone have want to share their favorite go to snacks? I like veggie straws, milk, protein bars, hard boiled eggs and fruit.
  • I have 4 kiddos: 7, 3, 2 and 2 months. I have 20 pounds from last pregnancy and 10 pounds from the previous pregnancies to loose. I mostly go on walks or use Gina B's Dance That Walk dvds for my workouts. I'm not planning on counting caloriesmuch until baby is on solids, so just trying to focus on cleaner eating and…
  • Way to go with your workouts! I'm lucky if I get 3 a week, especially with all the kiddos trying to "help" me exercise😊 Are you breastfeeding? I know if you cut calories too sharply you're body can actually go into "starvation mode" and hang onto weight. Maybe try cutting back gradually?
  • My baby is 2 months and I'm looking to loose 20lb plus 10 from previous pregnancy
  • I'm trying to loose baby weight, 30 pounds ideally. I don't want to count calories till my baby starts solids, so I'm focusing on exercise, staying hydrated and reducing carbs in the meantime. It's so hard to get started, but I lost about 45lb after last baby so I have no excuse!☺ we got this!
  • I guess I should introduce myself, I've never started a group before so here goes! My name is Grace, I'm 26 and have 4 kiddos:6, 3, almost 2 and 2months. I enjoy baking, photography, dancing, walks and chocolate, lots of chocolate. My first 2 pregnancies I gained 50-60 pounds. I ate well and was decently active and didn't…
  • Hi im Grace, im 26 and this is my 3rd pregnancy. Im almost 9 weeks. I had been exercising about 5 times a week till about 7 weeks when nausea finally hit-that went down the drain pretty quick. Im slowly trying at least get back into walking and have been trying my best to make healthy food choices (that i can stomach)😄 I…
  • How's everyone doing? My morning sickness finally hit me this week😛 seltzer water and spearmint gum to the rescue!
  • Im 6 +1. I havent made an appointment yet, i usually have my first around the 12 week mark. I've always used a midwife so first appointments may be different with a MD, but they will probably officially figure out your due date, weigh you, try and listen for a heartbeat(the fun part), check your blood pressure, probably go…
  • Silly question, but how do i "friend" or "add" you? Just by posting?
  • Hi! Im due December 26th,2020☺ This is my 3rd pregnancy, I'm 26. With both girls i didnt realy gain anything until 20-22 weeks then gained 50lb with my first (2 weeks early) and 60 pounds with my 2nd (2 weeks late and a 10 pounder) Funny, I compared my weight gain side by side week by week with both girls and I gained, to…
  • bloated, crampy, headaches...no nausea yet-im bracing myself!☺ it usually hits me by week 6 or 7
  • I totally get it! running around the house with Littles all day...working out is about the last thing i want to do. I hate running so I like the walk at home videos. Dance That Walk by Gina B is a great series. she has workouts from about 10 minutes to 45 minutes so you do what you feel up to and have time for. I had good…
  • Hi! Im pretty new here...how do i officially join this group? Have 3 kiddos-birth mom to youngest 2- ages 2 and 11months. I've gone from 175 to about 147 so far. Would be great to be 135 again. I'm still nursing but have been counting calories and trying to work out about 5 times a week. Been focusing on core strength and…
  • I've struggled with swelling in my hands, arms and legs/water retention and my dr. said if im hydrated and still swelling its from lack of protein. When protein deficient our body draws protein from our blood and it leaches throughout the body causing swelling. I upped my protein to 100+ grams/day and all the swelling was…
  • Rice cakes, oikos triple zero yogurt, hard boiled eggs, roasted chickpeas
  • Hi! 25 with 3 kiddos 5 and under
  • Im 5' 8" lowest ive been is 120lb (not a healthy time for me) and heaviest is 175lb after 2nd pregnancy. Currently 150lb. Goal of 140-145lb. Every body is different-healthy weights can vary greatly from person to person, even of the same height/age. God made us all unique and beautiful in our own way! ☺
  • I had a 3 finger separation after my last pregnancy....definitely avoid regular sit-ups and crunches. I used a 8 minute diastasis recti-safe ab workout from a youtube channel "Bodyfit by Amy" with good results, im now less than 1 finger separation after a few months. Counting calories, walking, and "Dance that Walk" dvds…
