I went with a Precor back in 2010. 11 years and it still looks like new and works like a champ. It has ability to lock arms like most these days and also can adjust ramp. They are pricey, but I can’t say we regretted the purchase.

Looks fresh and tasty. Nice job.

Was going to grill but rain started coming down hard and it was getting late… so went into the fridge and pulled out leftovers from Saturdays grilling. Homemade guacamole, pico de gallo, giant portobello mushroom and 3.5 oz of split sirloin. Some unsalted chips as a transport. That was shared between wife and I. Can’t…

Ha ha. I can relate. Welcome to being overweight 😝
-
Ha ha I was able to lift myself up onto the ledge of this seating area that is a good foot off the ground as you can see from my dangling feet… And now to jump off 😜. A double NSV moment.

3.5 mile jog. Done early to kick off the day.

Managed to jog 3.5 miles after no strenuous exercise on Thursday and nothing on Friday and taking her easy yesterday.. why? 51 and for my 1st colonoscopy… didn’t help I had drinks last night and then decided let’s get it done early. Felt like I running like crap but actually had a decent jog according to watch.

Love your eyes. I bet when you have a few drinks your eyes 👀 are wide open 🤣. Old friend who we always tell her that we know when she’s had a few drinks because she looks wide eyed…

Thank you 🙏. It made me teared up. Prolly amplified from the sangria I just enjoyed this afternoon. But no no I truly appreciate the acknowledgment…. I went for 7 mile jog on Wednesday so I know I’m at least trying to keep things going for the next 30-40 years.

Ssshhh literally was able ton got in my wife’s pants. I was like WTF!!! 🤣

Ha ha Thanks… I am a Saucony *kitten*. I have 6 pairs of them. I have 3 now in rotation and I’m about to retire 3. Donating them likely. Just got me ones in the pic. The endorphin pro 2 with a carbon fiber insert. I have been digging them for sure.. A few of the others in the pic are the wife’s as well.

Easy Sunday over and done with… am hopeful I can at least get 1 mile under 9 mins in the next few months…. Homemade Americano ☕️ coming up.. you all have a good rest of your weekend.

Thank you all.. Unfortunately the biggest reason I had literally not gotten off my A S S was that aside from obviously being overweight I only had hypertension that was under control with a minimal amount of BP meds. I had been given so many chances as my weight increased and my overall health remained ok. I just decided…

Been to the coast twice in the last few months and both times I used the hotel gym it was all to myself. Ha ha. I guess Friday and Saturday nights not typical for folks to be working out when they’re supposed to be vacationing and doing the usual eating and drinking…. Probably pandemic 😷 has a little something to do with…

Hey I understand what you’re saying, but when going from over 400 to under 200 via just an overall lifestyle adjustment at my age is a little surprising when my bpm is typically associated with a well trained athlete. I know BMI can be a relative #, but according to the BMI range I am still overweight for a 6 ft man. In my…

Walked the last miler under 15 mins. Told lady I’m picking up the pace and got it done…

2 years ago… Last weekend…

A nice brisk walk from the house to the lake and back…

As I’ve improved my health my bpm has dropped. It was never high when I was at my heaviest and now that I typically walk and jog daily about 7 miles it’s consistently in the 40s. I have a Drs appt. at the end of the month so will bring it up again. He had mentioned earlier this year about possibly doing a full blown check…

Who needs a parrot 🦜 on your shoulder when I have this 28 lb fool

Thanks to all for sharing… The pic below is what prompted me to start the thread… Black and White to lessen the 🤮 for you all Was a very nice run but well you see the effects of wearing to loose of an under shirt…

What keeps me motivated is that 51 year old me can jog what I used and then some as a 25 year old. I am more aware of nutrition health pain etc than I was as a young person. I can say I have regrets that I let so many years go by without watching my health. Chance has given me so many opportunities so I cannot see me…

You can do it. Just remember it’s your new lifestyle your transitioning to so remember focus on improving your health for the remaining decades of life you want to be around for. Don’t fall into the trap of making it to a #. You’ll have ups, downs and plateaus just like other folks either it be through medical means or…

Plan was for an outdoor 10k. Had it all mapped out. From house to lake around lake and back to house. Hydrated all day in preparation. Well got to the lake and bladder which had been on over drive already wanted to participate. Glad I am still able to hold it so ran by the lake and back home. 4.36 miles with an immediate…

Took it easy today with just a 5k. It was windy so that added some resistance for about half the jog.

Having one of these…. 🤤
