It’s all an estimate. Do you strictly use your phone to register your steps or are you using an Apple Watch? Typically if paired to an Apple Watch when you walk for longer periods of time with effort the watch will actually ping and ask is you’d like to register a walk, run, or a few other workouts it can identify.

Are you using a device? Apple Watch, Fitbit, manual?

On MyFitnessPal go to your profile and click on steps. Select your Apple Watch. On your iPhone through the Health app go to privacy section→apps→MyFitnessPal and select what you’d like to share with MyFitnessPal. Lots of options. Below is the main ones I use. This is entirely up to you what you want to sync from watch to…

Hump day 10k. Icing down ankles now. 🤣

I made a very generic statement and really when it comes down to it mileage may vary from person to person.. we are unique, but it can definitely have more exact data when you have people that are truly physically tuned and or a good tracking study is conducted. Exercise for me is a routine task much like brushing my teeth…

Walking at a decent speed between 3.7-4.5 mph will be a very good workout and will be fairly close to a zone 2-3 jog of 5.5-6.5 mph. This will be a fairly close calorie burn equivalent . It’ll be more time, but will be maybe 20-30 cals diff of walk vs jog. Things to keep in mind is walking and even zone 2 jogging will help…

Complete guess, but I’d say you are likely a diabetic. More info. regarding specifics would be useful. At points you feel symptoms as you’ve stated have you checked sugar at those moments? Really if you haven’t you should go get a full physical and blood work done by your general practitioner.

I’ll be blunt and say to stop worrying what the personal visuals will be once you’re in a healthier state than you currently find yourself in. That is one thing I’ve not seen you mention. What your priority should be is to be healthier which will be a by product of you finding what works for you. With medications you’ve…

April in the books. Got a few miles logged… ✅ Kicked off May with the weekly hump day 10k. It’s actually 3rd 10k this week. 😂
-
Bypassed the weekly hump day 10k. I could likely have knocked it out, but goal for this week was 45 min 🏃🏾s. Every day I’ve added .5 mph increase from M-W. Tomorrow I take it down by .5 for the remainder of the week sticking to the 45 minute 🏃🏾s. I missed the 4th mile by a few seconds of having all 5 miles today under 9…

Kept pushing my luck since I only had mild blood pressure issue and finally landed in the hospital. Possibly with covid in late December 2019. During the week in the hospital decided at 49 party had been going on long enough. I thought If I get out I figured let’s try to change things up. Well things have been fairly solid…

Walking and running are my jam.

4.5 miles all zone 2 🏃🏾 today. Slow steady and a good way to end the week.

4 oz of Siggis Skyr, 21 🍒s and half of a Bisquete Integral. With the ounce of of soy creamer kept breakfast at about 500 calories.

Do you have gym access? I’d say maybe do an elliptical or a recumbent bike workout. See if the pain walking is currently causing persists. Even sticking to slow walking will be better than nothing at all. Being older you may be experiencing issues that weren’t so evident as a younger person. I’ll say I know I have now…

Knowing a few more points of info. would help. Height, weight, age and current state of health.

Customary hump day 10k.

5 mile treadmill 🏃🏾.

Was trying to get psyched to knock ✊🏿 out last weeks hump day 10k. Got it done and this weeks coming up.

Yup I usually run what most folks would say is slow. 54 this year so I know my time to world class sprinter and getting a fast run is in the past. No lamenting here. I run for the enjoyment health of it and I stay in my lane of reality. My success is I don’t see people my age running at my slow pace or any pace. Hell I…

4 year time lapse… lost 🤔 😏 a few, but have been gifted with rosacea. No complaints just a fact.

After glow of a 4 mile run.

5 mile run to the lake. Then 2 miles, a 14+ min mile and a 13+ min mile walk back to the house. It was 50 degree, but still managed to get my sweat on. I foresee elliptical tomorrow to give my gankle(gimp+ankle) a rest. I’d say it’s the weather, but getting older and pushing it always reminds us of our old injuries.

Slogged out a Friday 10k. Humidity was 90% even though it was in the lower 80s according to weather report because of the humidity it felt like 91. I agreed. Had another 3/4 of mile to get back home, but by 5 miles I was running in wet shoes. So once the 10k was done I took a breather and then squished my a s s home. The…
